If this statement was made for Muslim consumption, they will have to come up with more evidence than just empty phrases.
I accept this action by the military, as directed by their civilian leadership, only in the sense that good Christians do not mock or needlessly violate the dead. Concur on your view of the unecessary requirment to maintain the corpse. And I guarantee this was one of the most photographed/filmed events of the modern era. Hell, everything is filmed in some fashion these days.
We'll see all the grisly detail in time.

We did disrespect Osama in one way that pleases me.
BY washing his body and wrapping him in white linen we gave him a proper Muslim burial, but according to Muslim law we DENIED him MARTYRHOOD by removing the clothing he died in.
Subtle, but very meaningful to devout Muslims. Our burial means he did not die a Martyr.
Obama was a good Muslim just as Hitler was a good Nazi.

You can call Obama a liar all you want but you are also calling into question the integrity of our military and Navy Seals. If the Seals say they got him, then they got him.

I think he was referring to the fact that a fair number of posters are saying that the burial at sea was a plot to dump a different body or something like that. It's hard to imagine a conspiracy like that staying hidden.

The white sheet wrap part is kind of cute. Toilet paper would have worked for me. Remember the Osama pattern T.P.? In the old days SOP was to put the body in a canvas bag and add a Navy 5” round to the package for weight. The Vinson wouldn’t have had any 5” which makes me curious what the dead weight was? Spare anchor link maybe? But a large bullet would be extremely appropriate——his virgin is a guy? The Vinson has plenty of catapults and I’m guessing they headed east when they launched. There is no way the Vinson stopped dead in the water to launch/drop the package which means the 4 props probably made sausage out of whatever went overboard-—that would be justice delayed but not denied.
