i know that some believe that Obama was born in Hawaii but that Frank Marshall Davis was the real father. Nothing short of a reliable DNA test would resolve that question - if in fact it is a question - but I would bet a year's salary that such a test would never, ever take place.
So again, I think there are more questions to be answered, but politically I am personally more focused on policies and stopping Obama’s dismantling of the country so many worked and died for. We'll just have to see what else comes up on these issues, as we educate the public on the problems with Obama’s policies and work to get a good candidate to defeat him.
Just one more thing: I do believe that the Founders intended the term “natural born citizen” to mean a person born to citizen parents (excepting those born before the US existed as an independent nation, of course). But our “leaders” in both parties glossed over this, intentionally or otherwise. I wonder if the Democrats will bring it up if a Republican with one citizen parent gets hot in the polls. Maybe then a paternity for Obama more “convenient” to that situation would arise, and be pushed by the media. Who knows? After Clinton escaped conviction after impeachment, anything is possible. Oops, I have gone on too long again.
As for Abercrombie, I think he ran into legal roadblocks he should have known about before opening his mouth. Also, nobody who has actually seen the document has said it contained anything "embarrassing," so I'm not sure what you mean by that.
Thanks. I remember reading accounts about the “embarrassing” aspect, but a quick search didn’t turn up what I was looking for and after about two minutes I gave up. Maybe I will pick this back up another day . . .

In my own mind, I really have no question that some in the media have ridiculed and dismissed eligibility skeptics because they did not themselves have confidence that their man was in fact eligible, and wanted to quietly sweep the issue under the rug.

Clinton publicly demonstrated that contempt for the law could be a winning strategy. We are still reaping the consequences of that disgraceful man's actions.

....When one examines the signatures on the Obama abstract, why is it that instead of the 1961 era black ink business pen in a thin crisp signature, that instead the signatures are velvet smooth and wide like a felt tip pen of a much later date...........as those pens and ink structure gels did not appear until Obama was smoking dope.

I think you are right in that this fraud, like the JFK assassination (killed by a lone nut assassin, who in turn was killed by a lone nut assassin) is likely to become accepted “truth”. The alternative in both cases is very painful. LBJ, Mafia, CIA, etc...likely involved in the first...the White House and MSM in the second.

1. Certified Documents? There is no evidence of an official seal on the PDF. In the old days, one usually took a lead pencil and ran the side of the lead over the raised seal so that it would be visible to be able to copy.
2. Custody trail? A PDF document on the Internet has no custody trail. The original document has never (as far as I have read) been made available for inspection.
3. Never proven true? I think that his first short form COLB and this long form COLB have both been proven as fakes. I haven't heard the administration explain any of the anomalies on either document (PDF) so questions of their authenticity still stand.
4. Pedigree? Why can't anyone find other examples of either document (PDF) that look exactly the same as the president's?
5. All our president had to do was to direct the Hawaii Dept. of Health to send certified copies to several news organizations. The issue would have died then and there. But it is obvious the president doesn't want this to go away for some reason. You would think with the CIA and FBI, etc. at his disposal, he could have at least come up with an authentic looking COLB.
