Obama’s Osama bump will last less than 30 days.
If Obama continues to try to cash the Osama check, it will correctly be perceived as desperate political hackery.

OK it's Nov 2012 AND...
Gas is $7/gallon
$200 buys you two bags of groceries
Unemployment is 5% (yet first time unemployment claims are 800,000 every week, go figure)
Another Bin Laden photo is released (this time he's waving from Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyworld)
John Boehner gives a press conference explaining why the GOP had to vote to increase the debt limit to nine obsquatumatillion, and then cries for twelve straight minutes as cameras roll
Obama campaigns for the 365th day in a row, telling people he needs another four years to finish what he's started

None. All focus will be on the price of gas, the price of groceries, the unemployment rate, the national debt.

Hopelessness is a horrible feeling to have. Many in this country have that feeling today, because of the Democrats.
We need a leader with American values, and a Congress that supports those values as well.
That should be our goal.
By Nov. 2012 I think it will be as this guy Obama isn’t going to change. He has his Leftist/Marxist marching orders, and they aren’t in cadence with America.

NOT AT ALL. Terrorism is not the biggest threat to National Security ANYMORE. It’s the increase in deficit spending.

NO!
Obama will be lower than sea moss in a week as the news cycle catches up with the real time WH chaos, the multiples of story telling, and the golf game during the fete accompli.
Add to that the economy dump, unemployment numbers, food prices, gas prices, gas & oil drilling shut down, stratispheric taxation, crashing dollar, low stock profits and heat and electricity soaring.
Democrats have no intention of re-electing a CATASTROPHE. That is why Obama will lose. The elite media is starting to bail on him.

Actually, May 21st of this year is supposed to be the Rapture, as told to us from that church with the billboards, so we may not even be here to see the end of the Mayan calendar....

Lets see... yes I'll vote for O and the LIBS -- I so missed the years of Carter that I want more years of it!!

Already a movie about the alleged bin Laden kill is in the works. Look for Hollywood to release it just weeks prior to the election for maximum pro-Obama effect.
The media and film production entities in this country hold incredible power and people have proven repeatedly they can be swayed by slanted messaging.
So...yes. The events of the past week will have a very large effect on the Nov 2012 elections.

Liberals will vote for Obama no matter what.
I don't think that applies to the primaries.
I think a late challenger will take the rat party nomination. The congressional super delegates all have knives sharpened...

I think that hard core peacers will remain less motivated to support BHO because of this. For any of the “gitmo” liberals, this is especially rough following the Libya invasion. Many will stay home, disgusted with politics in general.
Those elected Dems who lost in 2010 might wonder about maybe the assassination should have back happened in October 2010, which will contribute to a high-level discontent.
Obama’s I/me/mine style on this does not ring true, as folks know he objected to just about everything except the ending.
The only people who think this is huge are people who love BHO.
So yes, I think this will cost BHO about 3 points in the long run, and many of his most energetic supporters will pull back.

Many young voters don't even remember who Osama was. I look for a double dip and inflation through the kazoo. Maybe even gas lines if we keep forbidding drilling. Black voters will be reminded that employment was better for them under Bush. I don't look for unemployment lower than 8% even in another year. The only Obamabots will be in Hollywood and basketball teams. The rest of us trying to eek out a living will throw his ass out. Whoever, and I mean whoever, the repubs pick will be president. It's scary to think of a Trump or Ron Paul, but if we don't get someone inspiring, it could be anybody. I can't believe it would be Romney, but you never know. My guess is Palin won't be running if she isn't in tonight's debate. Palin could generate some heat if she gets in.
As it sits now, someone from from the phone book could beat Obama in a few weeks.

Think it will stay at $4? Here in WY we’re rising by the day. Based on Chu’s wet-dream vision for $7-8 a gallon fuel, I hope people will be outraged come November 2012. We can only pray that people remember what this buffoon has done to America and get his hopey-changey ass out of office.

I think it’s a silly question. I don’t think any events determine an election this far out.

If it’s November 2012, we’re screwed, because Obama just killed Osama and we don’t even have a candidate......
