What would be her chances of every having a face to face conversation with the president? Hm? Zero?
Personally, I was unaware the the CIA interrogators were being prosecuted. If she hadn't discussed the issue with Obama ( I refuse to call him president) how many other Americans would still be as ignorant as I was.

I met Burlingame in December 2009 at the anti KWM rally in NYC. We were in the freezing cold rain with Andy McCarthy, Steve Malzberg, Rep. Pete King, Curtis Sliwa, etc. in front of 60 Centre street. I have some photos of that day here.

If he were any kind of man, he could have arranged for a phone call but that’s not going to happen. Personally, I don’t consider a commemoration, for lack of a better term, as the proper place for that kind of conversation.
And I’m sure nobama has absolutely no contact with holder vis a vis any upcoming cases. /sarc
Someone please correct me if I am mistaken but this is not the first time he has been at ground zero (GZ). It may be the first time as POTUS but it is not the first time.
I recollect that he and John McCain visited the site during their campaigns prior to the election. I do not know what the occasion was but they visited together. What stood out about their visit was McCain and his wife Cindy were totally deferential to the site and the people who were there. Obama, on the other hand, showed up without his wife (what a surprise) and acted as if he would rather be anywhere else than at GZ on that day.
I remember reacting to what a POS he was and never expected the American people to vote him into office.
How mistaken I was.
With a queer in the WH you’re suggesting we use informal ways to control their ways. Sounds like a good way to ruin an otherwise successful career.
It won’t be long before we have Marines with nicknames like ‘bootylicous’ and ‘juicy caboosy’. Burlingame had every right to bring the subject up. She lost her husband to Osama’s terror plot. Do you think she would EVER get another chance to speak to Hussein? She gave him a chance to be dignified and decent. He failed.
Did you see any of the coverage on tv today when he went to GZ? Holy moly, the network and local journalists in my town (Miami) were ecstatic over Hussein’s presence there. You would have thought Hussein strangled UBL with his bare hands.
Yeah, the media adoration is really over the top.
