From the very first moment the world learned that American forces had killed Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden, even the tiniest details from the momentous event have captivated the nation. Every single nugget of data has been the stuff of breaking news, handheld "alerts" and watercooler discussion, in a way the country has never previously witnessed.
No landmark event of the 20th century, from World Wars I and II to the Cuban missile crisis, from the moon landing to the fall of the Soviet Union – not even the attacks of September 11, 2001 -- have been as widely transmitted, reported on, written about, and talked about by as many people, across so many different platforms of communication, as the killing of bin Laden. Within days, it has become a singular event of the Information Age.
President Obama's decision to withhold the classified photographs and video associated with the mission has ironically served to deny this most modern of events one of the key ingredients present in virtually all other watershed news events in recent memory: pictures. We've had them from the Kennedy assassination and its Zapruder film to 9/11 and its camcorders. The Arab Spring comes via YouTube cell phone video, linked to from Twitter.
Indeed, in their sheer number of rate of disclosure, the details of the bin Laden mission have formed their own digital assault: They've poured forth virtually non-stop since the president finished speaking in the East Room of the White House, at 11:44 p.m. Eastern Time on Sunday night, May 1, nine minutes after he had begun.
The riotous cacophony of claims and counter-claims has emanated from official podiums and anonymous sources, reputable reporters and unknown websites, everything, it seems, equipped with a screen, a speaker, or a mouth. Yet so grandly cinematic is

If Islam and OBL were so right, then they would attack those secular targets. If Zero had the guts, then he would make a cogent message in our behalf and defense, instead of pleading guilty AMerica and removing himself and his cohorts of blame.
All Zero wants to do is take the credit for the kill to some circles, and the blame for the killing away from other circles.
This is what this FUBAR circus is all about. THE CIC IS A FN COWARD still to this day. HE is trying to manipulate this.
No, it’s not orchestrated chaos, and it’s not incompetence. It’s a result of the continuing struggle between the Obama administration and the military/intelligence services, who know the real version. It’s a bloodless, slow-motion coup.
And Fox is not helping, just adding to the confusion.
I know you didn’t ask for my thoughts, so put it in the circular file if you like (lol), but here’s what I commented on my blog about this not too long ago, because I, too, have a feeling of sinister foreboding in all this:
I find it hard to believe that anybody could be this incompetent at handling the story of Osama Bin Laden. It smacks of diversion also. Not the actual raid on Bin Laden necessarily but the circus surrounding the stories we were told about it; the story changes every other minute. Both that and the forged BC hurt Obama’s long-term credibility but they would serve the purpose well if he knows he doesn’t have to worry about the long-term because he’s got something big up his sleeve that he wants to hit us with before we can protect ourselves.
I know this sounds crazy, but we’re dealing with the same people who most probably orchestrated the financial crisis that has set the world aflame – especially in the Middle East. Soros has said that he doesn’t want America to win the war on terror because then America and capitalism will be strong, and he views those as the world’s greatest evils. This guy Soros seriously thinks he’s God and he is allies now with the Islamists such as Ahmadinejad who believes the Middle East uprisings are a sign from Allah that he is supposed to usher in Armageddon and the return of the 12th Imam.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see but I fear that the contempt Obama/Soros has for America will be shown in ever more extreme and wanton ways. All the technology the US has is at the disposal of these madmen who hate the US. A very, very sobering thought. I hope if there are any military people reading this, they grasp what I am saying here. Nothing is impossible to Obama as long as he has the audacity to use the technology we have. As he gets more blatantly belligerent towards the American way and realizes that his credibility is totally shot, he will increasingly have nothing to lose. And then all bets are off.
You use orchestrated chaos to dupe everyone into believing the person that was supposed to be in control wasn't, some other “unknown” person was.
The idea is to make people believe the person that was supposed to be in control is in the dark just like everyone else, so the story keeps changing as they get to the bottom of just what happened and who the “unknown” person is.
As long as people believe that some “unknown “ person was in charge, then any screw up isn't Zippo’s fault it's somebody else fault.
Because of the misinformation coming from Ubama’s own lips on Sunday night, I assumed he was talking about a military operation and that U.S. ground troops had been used. I was not the only one, because this became the news story. One wondered what our military would do with the body they held “in custody.” Again, this from Ubama’s own lips.
After about 24 hours, it had morphed into a CIA operation where SEALS had been choppered in and one helo crashed then destroyed by U.S. operatives. Poof. And UBL’s body was in the deep, dark sea.
Since then, I pretty much tune out the latest ridiculous “development” and “new detail” as it has all become a joke. And a distraction, as intended.
Well, it did get Trump’s criticism of Obama off the front pages, didn’t it?
I hope the seal team didn’t reveal to BO who the trigger man was on the team that got him.

His right-hand man, Daley, gushed about what a "gutsy" move Obama made it ordering the strike. From the looks of it, the guts belonged to the guys who actually carried out the strike. I've read that when the rubber met the road, BamBam couldn't bring himself to give the nod and that Panetta and Gates gave it the go-ahead lest the news leaked out and UBL escaped again.
That's because the Pentagon is full of professionals. If it was up to them, we might not know Osama was hit for quite a while. They would want to use the intel before the planet was aware we had the information.

The inability of this administration to get its story straight tells me that they don;t know the story. They didn;t know what was going to happen going in and they did not know what happened coming out.
The “unnamed administration sources” are completely out of the decision making loop.
