At New York City's largest Afghan mosque, supporters of the Taliban have chosen to pray in the basement or outside in the parking lot. They have not returned to the mosque for daily prayers since last Friday, when their imam denounced the attacks on the World Trade Center.
''When I speak against the Taliban and Osama, they harass me; so many times they harass me,'' Imam Mohammed Sherzad, the leader of Hazrat-I-Abubakr Sadiq mosque, said at his office in Flushing, Queens. ''They say: 'Why do you speak against Osama bin Laden? He is a good Muslim.' ''
The tensions at the mosque last Friday reflect in part the heightened anxieties and divided loyalties among the city's Afghans, who number roughly 20,000.
A week after the attacks, many find themselves torn between their adopted country and the fear that their devastated homeland will feel the brunt of a retaliatory strike from the United States.

Perhaps OBL had decided to settle down and live quietly under the winking eye of Pakistan, but one can’t deny he had hatched some very wicked schemes before that. And we haven’t yet been told what his current projects were. How is a “good Muslim” who supposedly repents supposed to show that?

Exactly. But this article clearly shows that many American Muslims agreed with bin Laden and saw nothing wrong with the attacks of 9/11. Have they all changed their minds?

Make them swear allegiance to this country or get the fu** out.
If they are naturalized citizens then they broke their Oath of Allegiance and their citizenship must be revoked. If they are not citizens then the process is even simpler; DHS doesn't need to look for terrorists in pants of little boys, they can catch them by the busload in that mosque. There are already provisions in immigration forms that ban entry or stay to terrorists and their fellow travelers.
Excellent. Now we just need a President and Attorney General to uphold the law.

They are planting the seeds everywhere.
It shows you what we’re up against. And we have a President who is importing them by the tens of thousands.
After 9-11, importation of Islam should have come to a full stop. Instead the idiots Bush Jr. and Obama have continued to pour this garbage into our homeland.

The attitudes have evolved very little—only the numbers of mosques has changed.
There’s a big one on Parsons and 33rd. There’s another down kissena near Queens College and the Hillcrest area is being over-run.
This article displays perfectly the dangers associated with divided loyalties and frames quite succinctly why our founders deemed it imperative that our President be a NBC.
If the Republicans were smart and had guts they would make Islamic immigration a campaign issue and they would win BIG TIME! When people get in the privacy of the voting booth they will vote to keep the Moslems out, you can bet on that.
