I have only one point to make...IF bin Laden was already dead since Tora Bora and IF the various governments have been using him as a “boogieman” to justify their military actions (which is believable based on those stupid tape releases),then it would be incumbent on OBAMA, if he wished to end the wars Bush started, to stage the death of bin Laden sometime during his Presidency, preferably at a time when it benefitted him most (birth certificate.) That is all.

No, I think the pictures released last week served a different purpose for a different audience. Somebody in Pakistan recognizes the bodies of the guys who were off'd. We just don't know the significance of it yet.
Pakistan now plays the mea culpa game, slapped silly with international embarrassment, but they still have to play along with the story line if they hope to have the $3B/year gravy train coming in.
What if the guys who were off'd were actually the real guys behind the Mumbai bombing, and India wanted globally broadcast evidence to those involved that they too will be squashed in time? Just a theory. A message was sent to someone -- that is an undeniable fact.

This article has prompted me to research a little.
I found one of the post 9/11 interviews with OBL, where he claims he had no knowledge or a hand in planning 9/11 and goes on to speak much like he did in his 1997 interview.
A snippet:
“I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle. It is the United States, which is perpetrating every maltreatment on women, children and common people of other faiths, particularly the followers of Islam. All that is going on in Palestine for the last 11 months is sufficient to call the wrath of God upon the United States and Israel.”
He goes on to say:
“Then there are intelligence agencies in the U.S., which require billions of dollars worth of funds from the Congress and the government every year. This [funding issue] was not a big problem till the existence of the former Soviet Union but after that the budget of these agencies has been in danger. They needed an enemy. Anyone have any idea if this interview performed by UMMAT KARACHI newspaper is authentic? It appears to be and have checked around the internet. To be quite honest, i dont know what to think, an interesting read nonetheless.
