Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Sunday questioned why the Obama administration is releasing so much information about the operation that resulted in the death of Usama bin Laden and the intelligence behind it.
While Rumsfeld praised President Obama for overseeing and green-lighting the daring raid last weekend, he suggested the White House could be taking a risk in sharing the details it has with the public.
"The more information that goes out about intelligence, the greater the risks to our people and the less likelihood we're going to be able to capture and/or kill some of the people who would result from the intelligence take here," Rumsfeld said on CBS' "Face the Nation."

Other than to give 0bama a bump in the polls, there was NO need to release either the announcement of UBL’s killing or the “treasure trove” of info for, say, a month or so. As is, every piece of trash mentioned in that treasure trove has been given a heads up. Poor, poor planning.
I’ll go further and say they should have not even released news of Osama’s assasination until at least a week or two so they had time to squash some more roaches. As it is all the roaches had plenty of time to get away. Not too smart.

The left is so deep into moral equivalence they’ve made ethical morons of themselves. Noam Chomsky wanted to know what we would think if al qaeda sneaked onto Bush’s ranch and ‘assassinated’ him. This is Obama’s bunch in spades, except that for them it’s never ‘equivalent’. It’s always, ‘The West is worse’. If we don’t do something to get our schoolkids out of the hands of these maniacs, it might really be all over for us.
