NBC poll: Nearly two-thirds back decision not to release bin Laden photos

The latest NBC News poll finds that nearly two-thirds of Americans back President Obama's decision not to release the photos taken after Osama bin Laden's death.

Fifty-two percent said they strongly believe the Obama administration should not release the photos, and an additional 12 percent agreed, although not as strongly.

By comparison, 24 percent said they strongly believe the photos should be released, and 5 percent more agreed not so strongly.

On Wednesday, the Obama administration announced it would not be releasing the photos, even though some politicians claimed they were needed to prove to the public and world that bin Laden was dead. However, on Friday, al Qaeda confirmed that bin Laden was killed.

The survey -- which will be released in full Monday night -- was conducted by Democratic pollster Peter D. Hart and Republican pollster Bill McInturff, and it was taken of 800 adults (100 reached by cell phone) from May 5 through May 7. It has an overall margin of error of plus-minus 3.5 percentage points. .

NBC poll: Nearly two-thirds back decision not to release bin Laden photos

Big hairy deal.........90% of children under the age of five are opposed to vaccinations.

NBC, you gotta go outside the Oval Office to get your sampling.

I usually trust polls but this one has the smell of push poll all over it.

B.S poll from the state run media that worships Obama!

When I read a headline like this, then I just think this coming from the Obama network. I mean NBC. That means the majority of people do not believe Obama and want to see the real photos if they exist.

Notice how all the polls now by the lib media are taken by only calling “adults”? It is the most inaccurate method. They don’t even break down the demographics anymore so they most likely are calling names right off the DNC calling list.

It’s an NBC poll. Enough said. Obamajad could throw his own daughters off the top of the Empire State Building in full sight while the country watches and the lame stream commies would find a way to praise him for it. The lame streams would simply have us all believe the Obamajad children are in fact the anti-Christ and the happy couple are victims!

Ringgg!

Hello.

Good evening. Do you have a moment to answer a polling question?

Sure, I guess.

President Obama has stated that displaying photos of Osama bin Laden would foment anger in the Muslim community and could put our brave soldiers at increased risk. The President also reminds us that these photos could cause a rapid increase in terrorist activities in this country, and that you and your children and your brothers and sisters and mom and dad could all be at increased risk of death or dismemberment. Knowing all this, do you still think it’s a good idea to show these photos?

Well, since you put it that way, I guess not.

Thanks for your time. Is there anyone else there at the teacher’s union headquarters that I can speak to?

The Pentagon is recommending against releasing the photos... That’s good enough for me. Troop safety is not worth playing politics with.
