Greetings!! Gloucester County here. IMO, Allen should pay whatever Gov. McDonnell's 2009 campaign team would want and reassemble it for his run.
McDonnell kept issues on the economic plane, venturing onto the social turf where needed, but maintaining a steady economic message. He even pulled in a high percentage of the latinos without even broaching the subject of immigration. McDonnell ran the most disciplined political campaign for a GOPer that I've ever seen and others should use it as an instructional touchstone for their own campaigns. If Allen stays on message and doesn't bite the racism bait the dems set out last time, he should be fine.
Totally agree - it was cringe worthy to see Allen take the bait from that Webb weasel and self-destruct...
also, was not too impressed by the female who was state Repub chrman at the time. After the epic fail, she went to work for Allen in DC and is on Hannity sometimes...elitist RINO!
