Anyone recall that originally, a "hate crime" had to involve an actual crime?
This is a little like tasers. Originally, the purpose was to provide a "non-lethal" alternative to killing someone with a gun. Now, guns are still used when they would have used a gun, but tasers are used when they would have NEVER used a gun. Tasers are generally used in "contempt of cop" cases where a person is uncooperative.

Don’t forget hacking off heads, killing children and babies - I find those to be bigoted actions. But that’s just me. .

Uncover for last 5 minutes

In other words, since this is not legitimate "news," CAIR had to resort to paying to spread their propaganda.
