NJ State Police "Outraged" Over Rapper Invited to White House (Praised Fugitive Cop Killer)
NBC New York ^ | Tuesday, May 10, 2011 | Brian Thompson

The invitation of rapper Common to a White House this week is drawing the ire of the union representing New Jersey state police.

While not even casual hip-hop fans would characterize him as a controversial rapper, Common found himself under the microscope after First Lady Michelle Obama invited him to the White House for an arts event. FOX News and Sarah Palin criticized the decision after the Daily Caller published some of Common's lyrics, including some that criticize President George W. Bush.

For Jersey police, the outrage centers on a song by Common about Assata Shakur, formerly known as Joanne Chesimard, who was convicted for the 1973 slaying of Trooper Werner Foerster on the New Jersey Turnpike. Garden State police take offense at "A Song for Assata," which includes the lines "Your power and pride is beautiful. May God bless your soul."

For David Jones, president of the State Troopers Fraternal Association union, the White House invitation to a rapper who seems to celebrate Shakur is disturbing.

"The young people who read this stuff, hear this stuff, are getting a very dangerous and deadly message," Jones said.

It is the trash infesting the White House who invited this vile clown. Don’t blame him, blame the host. Besides Obama’s girls attended Rev Wright’s church their whole lives! Eeek.

Makes you wonder,why work?

I'm wondering every day. So few of us left working for private businesses, and even fewer paying federal taxes, I'm not sure what the point is. Any money saved will just be redistributed or worthless by the time it came for us to use it anyway.

When asked for comment, Obama said, “The police are acting stupidly.”

You are right, the Obamas are cut from exactly the same cloth as Black racist “Common”!!! They hate White people, they hate Women, they hate Italians, they hate Police, they hate GW Bush, they hate America. The “brother” Common loves The Obamas, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louie Farrakhan, Van Jones, etc., all sworn America haters. How’s that for “Hope & Change”, Americans???

I seriously doubt that a majority of them vote democrat. I have known and worked with a decent number of NJ State Troopers over the years and quite a few of them had political views that would make many Freepers seem like left wing pantywaists. Comparing NJ State Troopers to local cops or other State Police doesn’t work. They are a breed all their own. Even though they have compromised some of the training it is still very very tough to become a NJ State Trooper. A good friend of mine who went through both Marine Boot Camp and NJ State Trooper training said his time on Parris Island was much easier both physically and mentally.

I tried to find out who their union endorsed in the last election without success.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see who they endorse this time around.
(and how many of them vote for bambi)

Their boot camp at Sea Girt is hard. My father knew a few when he was an EMT instructor. Including two who were killed by the radicals (the one killed by Chesimard, and another by a member of the Weather Underground). The comparison with the Marine Corps is a good one - the same squared away ethic.

NAPO endorsed Obama for president in 2008 and Democrats John F. Kerry in 2004 and Al Gore in 2000.

Washington, DC - The Justice Department announced today that it has opened a civil pattern or practice investigation into the Newark, N.J., Police Department (NPD) involving allegations of use of excessive force, discriminatory policing, whether detainees confined to holding cells are subjected to unreasonable risk of harm and whether officers retaliate against citizens who legally attempt to observe or record police activity.

The investigation is in accordance with the pattern or practice provision of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, the anti-discrimination provisions of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

No surprise - the rapper and the Obamas are cut from the same cloth.

They're both common.

Common (kom-uhn) (adj) - hackneyed; trite. Of mediocre or inferior quality; mean; low: a rough-textured suit of the most common fabric. Coarse; vulgar: common manners.

Contrary to the liberal media spin, it's more than just conservatives who are upset the Obama administration is inviting this anti-American to the White House.

After thinking about this article for a few minutes, I think your point is true, but only to a point. I don't recall a big stink being raised by police officers when Van Jones was selected by the administration for a position. This is a guy that is for the release of cop-killing Black Panther Mumia Abu Jamal. Jones even organized protest marches to get the slimeball freed. I don't remember seeing ANY police organizations speaking out about Jones. But then someone invites a supporter of a cop-killer for dinner, and it's time to break out the torches and pitchforks? Please. It's for show.

Or maybe FUBO and FUMO will put the kids to bed before the racist rapper with f-bombs and n-words “entertains” the Obamas with tales of burning presidents and killing cops.

It's only white people that he talks about burning & killing. Therefore nothing to see here, just move along...only entertaining lyrics for the entire commie pig 0dumbo family. Geez, I hate this entire 0dumb0 family more than ever. May they all roast for eternity in Hell.

LOL!

From the article:

"Common, who is also a successful actor, is known as one of the most lyrically poetic rappers."

I guess he really is Shakespeare. Like this sonnet:

"Them dick boys got a lock of cock in them!"

We have trash in the White House, inviting trash.

And here we have, the First "Lady" of the United States, 'Gettin her Freak On' for the cameras.

Moochhell knows as much about 'fine' arts as a pig knows about Sunday school. Speaking of pigs.
