Equity among workers is one of Republican Gov. John Kasichs most consistent arguments in favor of Ohios new collective bargaining law.
The law, Senate Bill 5, will bring Ohios public workers closer in line with private sector workers, who, on average, pay more for health care benefits and have weaker pensions, Kasich repeatedly has said.
Now the governor is weaving collective bargaining for federal workers or lack thereof into his support for the law.
Even though SB 5 restricts collective bargaining for the states 360,000 public workers, they would still be better off than federal workers, Kasich recently told a Youngstown radio show.
"Two million federal workers negotiate zippo, zero," Kasich told radio host Dan Rivers on April 26 when discussing SB 5. "There is no collective bargaining for federal employees."

Kasich’s assertion is actually quite true: federal government employees have practically no collective bargaining rights, unlike many state and local workers. Yet another big difference between federal workers and the state/local sector.
Good. That makes it easier to fire you leeches.
Equality?
I could go on and on and on.
The one big benefit you have is a COLA for your pension when you retire ~ Unless, of course, you get a Far Leftwingtard like Obama in charge and he says NO COLA. We are headed into the third year with NO COLA ~ even though COLA was part of the deal for working for them.
You can't trust the Left. They always lie.

That's also the case in corporate America. I had to sign papers to that effect when I was hired.
Good. That makes it easier to fire you leeches.
If it was not for the federal government, the states would fail big time. We still have to send Alaska for example more money then they send to Washington because the state for whatever reason cannot make it. Many states are like this. So get rid of federal workers and the federal government and many states will fall apart. We will not exist as the United States of America. And don’t tell me that crap about how you would love for the United States to fall apart because I don’t believe any real America really wants that.
Big labor blow jobs don’t impress me boy.
Big labor blow jobs dont impress me boy.
Your nonsense does not impress me slut.
I don't know for certain but I suspect the fact that Washington owns 95% of the land in Alaska may have something to do with that.
I’m not the pathetic coward who equates America with government parasites.
They just steal our patentable ideas ~ which is why you won't find federal government employees doing much in the way of new ideas or patents until they retiree.
It's a real smart public policy ~ they should find the guys who came up with it and put them on the rack and stretch them until their joints pop. Then make them really, really hurt!
A beautiful example of why America is in such bad shape.
The state of Alaska does quite well on its own, but the largest landowner in the state is shiftless and no-count.
A shiftless and no-count landowner that sits on massive oil reserves that they refuse to utilize and actually make some money from.

I hate to think of what's happenning to GM's intellectual property..................
That Finnish company sounds very much like the German corporation I work for.
My wife worked for a big German one and had nothing but wonderful experiences. But that was 15 years ago.
Easier to drill taxpayers than to drill rock.
I’m borrowing that if ya don’t mind..........
