Why Don't We Hear About Soros' Ties to Major News Organizations?
FoxNews ^ | May 11, 2011 | By Dan Gainor

When liberal investor George Soros gave $1.8 million to National Public Radio , it became part of the firestorm of controversy that jeopardized NPR’s federal funding. But that gift only hints at the widespread influence the controversial billionaire has on the mainstream media. Soros, who spent $27 million trying to defeat President Bush in 2004, has ties to more than 30 mainstream news outlets – including The New York Times, Washington Post, the Associated Press, NBC and ABC.

Prominent journalists like ABC’s Christiane Amanpour and former Washington Post editor and now Vice President Len Downie serve on boards of operations that take Soros cash. This despite the Society of Professional Journalist’s ethical code stating: “avoid all conflicts real or perceived.”

When seeking answers to questions like that, you need to look at the relatives of George Soros as well. For instance, at least one daughter in law is an editor with Vanity Fair.

A lot of very sick groups suck off of Soro’s old teats. Nothing better than a good dose of commie, marxist milk$$$ to keep the filth alive.

Guess this would explain how so many of the news organizations run the exact same stories, use the same buzz words (’gravitas’ anyone?), IGNORE important facts in stories (like the recent airline incident in which the guy was shouting “Allah Akbar” as he rushed the cockpit door), etc.

It has been obvious for years that they are CONTROLLED by someone at the top.

Thank God for the internet and FR!

The corruption of the press(media) started to become really bad about the time of WW I.(Baron Northcliffe) The only really meaningful expression regarding the press that can be said today being “Whose interest is being served?”

We DO have a free press in the country.

What you are suggesting is that the press has an “obligation” to be unbiased, and fair. That is a very recent occurrence. Throughout our country, most newspapers have been based on political positions, for their own readers. They were, for the most part, propaganda pieces.

What is happening today is that the media is reverting to the same biased positions that were in place 100 years ago.

Recognizing the truth is difficult in these days. You should not assume that ANYTHING you read or hear is true. Look for proof. Look for facts.

The problem is that most people have no idea how to find truth.

I pretty much believe the opposite of anything the “Free Press” prints.

One thing is certain they won’t find the truth in the American Press.

Like I said, it just barely scratches the surface. Once you start looking into individual leads you find whole interconnected offshoots.

for the same reason 99% of the public doesn’t know this:

** Washington Post and CBS receiving money from ObamaCare Slush Fund **

You need to be part of the presstitutes or the federal nomenklatura to get such favors.

They only assist the government in the task of cultural shaping. Nothing wrong with that, is there?
