Gee, why don’t I believe him?
Did you read what he said? He said nothing about states’ rights. His criticism is that he doesn’t trust Romney.
Since when can he or anyone else not express criticism against Romney? You must really hate free speech.
Two opportunists that want to run. Romney and Newt.
POS iiar.
Out with Obamacare and in with Romneycare, six of one, and half a dozen of the other. Romney’s snake oil is better than Obama’s.
Yup
Yup Yup !
Oh, yeah, Reagan really would have been for socialized medicine—if only it had been implemented state by state.
(eye roll)
Hey Mitt try ending Romneycare here in Massachusetts
before making promises you will not keep! Romneycare and obamacare are free market cancers!
Romney for Obama in 2008
The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off .hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."
"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"
"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"
"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"
"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"
"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"
At least Newt comes up with some good ideas now and then, although he appears to have peaked with the Contract with America. We're still waiting on Mitt's first good idea.
I won't vote for Mitt and I'd only vote for Newt with reluctance.
No but he did sign a bill as Gov to massively expand abortions. Governors do what they have to do sometimes based on the legislature they have.
I was in MA at the time, Mitt went through all kinds of preening about his thinking through and coming up with the genius solution of Romneycare. He made everyone know it was his brainstorm and his baby and what all citizens should be so grateful for the type of brilliant solution you could expect with a big-brained consultant as your guv. There is nothing the least Reaganesque about Romney—who went out of his way to distance himself from Reagan when he was running for office in MA.
