Obama still running neck and neck with unnamed Republican candidate
Given a choice between Barack Obama and an unnamed Republican, 43% of registered voters say they are more likely to vote for Obama and 40% are more likely to vote for the Republican. This is essentially unchanged from April and February, when voters' preferences were evenly split.

The two-percentage-point increase in support for Obama's re-election over the past month, from 41% in the April 20-22 poll to 43% today, is not statistically significant...

I really think we need some new parties.
I really think we need some new parties.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president. — Author Unknown
Seriously? No way this clown gets reelected.
Get real. It depends on how they asked the question.
“Did you approve of what the President did, killing Osama bin Laden?”
One would have to be brain dead to say “NO!”
I no longer trust polls. What I am discovering in talking to ordinary people in supermarkets and the like, is that they universally dislike and distrust Obama!
That tells me a lot!
Seriously? No way this clown gets reelected.
No way this clown should have been elected in the first place...but “unkus” post above nailed it
If Rush was correct today, the WH knows that these poll numbers are artificially high. He said the WH has internals that show Obummer at half of what the public polls have him at. That makes a lot more sense than him being even with even a stray dog on the street. Obummer is doomed.
I agree with Kansas, don’t hand Odumbo the win with a 3rd party. This is damn winnable for the GOP. The American public did not buy that this clown got OBL, which is good. Just need a candidate who won’t sit there and take it from the MSM.
Much wisdom.
It’s obvious that once and awhile, America needs a trainwreck like Carter or Obama as a painful lesson of what happens when you elect empty suits as president. Hopefully, many outside the mainstream media and the fringe left who voted for Obama have learned from the experience and will do better in 2012. I hope what’s left of the dem party learned nothing from the massive a$$ kicking they recieved last Nov. and will continue on with their crap so we can make sure Obama is voted out of office next year.
But the GOP cannot just sit back. McCain was a terrible choice in 2008. I pray the right ticket is formed that can not only soundly beat Obama/Biden, but will also be the right people to lead this country in a better direction.
There’s something profoundly wrong, if BO can’t be defeated.
Obummer is doomed.
Yup. That’s why he’s running for reelection NOW.
I agree 100%. Well said.
I agree. As long as the new parties start from below, bottom up, not jump to presidential races.
Polls are mfg’d bullsh!t with a hint of truth to give them legitimacy. I hate polls on the same level that I hate the political liars who try to destroy the greatest country God ever created.
Wait for the big Obummer summer that’s coming.
Five buck gas, expensive food, people not going on vacations, it’s going to be an eye opener for many.
