Palin: Rapper's invite to White House lacks 'class and decency'

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) on Wednesday slammed the White House's decision to invite the rapper Common to participate in a poetry event.

Palin, a potential presidential candidate and frequent critic of Obama, said that the invitation was "too easy" to decry because Common is "someone who has glorified cop killing" in his lyrics.

"The judgment is just so lacking of class and decency and all that's good about America with an invite like this," Palin said during an interview on Fox News.

Common's presence at the event drew flack from media figures who drew attention to some of his lyrics, in which he used violent language against President George W. Bush and police officers.

Palin, who had briefly criticized the invite in a tweet Tuesday, suggested the White House was practically sparking a controversy.

No decent person will have anything to do with the current occupants in our White House.

The dregs are their natural cohorts.

Of course, anyone who elected Obama expecting him to bring class or decency to the WH was delusional...Elections have consequences. In some measure, Americans are getting exactly what they deserve. As they did with Jimmy Carter, hopefully American voters will learn from their mistakes—at least for a few election cycles.

I saw a white house apologist on the news this morning praising this thug for his community service in Chicago by introducing the children to “poetry”........this gives new meaning to “defining deviancy down”.

Now I understand how zero’s rating zoomed to 60 % approval according to the AP....they took it from the poets invited to this classless event...

0bama is a racist thug as well,
as is Holder, and Van Jones, etc.

No real surprise that they all would hang out together.

How could Obama or Michelle have class.

He is a bastard child of a drunk and a hippie.
She should have a little more than he, since she was raised in a middle class black family, but obviously her mother skipped over the lessons in how to have class. Maybe her mopther couldn’t teach her what she didn’
t know herself, including taste in clothes.I believe Michelle gave us a quick look at how much class she had when she stated that she had no pride in America.

I wish everyone on our side would stop falling for the bait that these bastards in the White House continue to throw out.

Their intentions? To get us off track of what the real problems are out here in fly over land and to cause more attacks from the MSM on anybody that responds.

Sarah my lady. Continue attacking on issues that really matter and stop falling for the bait.

Why narrow down what we can criticize them for? Just more ammunition, IMO.

It’s The Theology Stupid!

‘This controversy over the black revolutionary rapper at the White House is absolutely the height of foolishness and absurdity, because his rap is completely consistent with Black Liberation Theology, which is the Obama’s revolutionary, racist religion. In fact BLT goes much further than this rapper does, equating white society to the Antichrist and describing America as the demonic tool of the “Antichrist.” ‘

A very popular NJ radio station is calling for all of New Jerseyians to flood the White House with calls expressing outrage over the invite. Complete and warranted outrage by the people of this State. And don’t forget this is a State that is center to left that voted for Obama. Don’t think he will get the Jersey vote this time. Also has any media questioned Lautenberg or Menedenz for comment? I believe Menedenz’s daughter was on Hannity last night defending the rapper. The apple hasn’t fell far from the tree in this family.

I have short term memory when it comes to this administration. Only because I do not want to soil my mind.

Week one, it's the BC. Week two, it's osama. Week three, it's common. Week four, ____. Week five, ____. What will they dream up of next to keep soetoro's ratings up and cater to the lowest?
