They are usually locked ward hospitalized.

Fair - and sad - enough. What then do they need six-figure pay-offs for, though? Candy bars from the hospital cantine?

The six figure is probably normal severence you get when you retire on disability in the school system. To me, that is probably the problem.

Or perhaps they had to agree to a higher amount to get the guy out of the school legally. If it is what I think, he is the type to “go postal”.
