CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (NewsCore) - Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Thursday that Obama administration officials had initially agreed no details of the US Navy SEALs' raid on Usama bin Laden's Pakistan hideout would be made public, but that those plans "all fell apart."
"Frankly, a week ago Sunday, in the Situation Room, we all agreed that we would not release any operational details from the effort to take out bin Laden," Gates said at a town hall with Marines at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, according to FOX News Channel. "That all fell apart on Monday -- the next day."

This sickens me. Gates is the last adult in that room...and he retires at the end of June. God save our troops, Obama won’t. I am sickened by this.
He’s more interested in using the Armed forces and particularly this team as an election prop. I cannot voice in a public forum what I want to say..so I’ll just say..words fail me.

Gates is the adult. And I am giving credit to Hillary on this as well. She hasn’t said much. She is still walking a tightrope of diplomacy to retrieve the remains of that aircraft.
