(CNSNews.com) - Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is calling on Americans to ‘rise up’ and express how important the DREAM Act is to them.
Reid made the comments at a conference on Wednesday in support of the measure that would allow qualifying illegal aliens obtain legal residence status.
“As was said yesterday in El Paso by the president, we need the people of America to rise up and indicate to each of us how important this legislation is,” Reid said.
“I believe that the people in America need to understand that these young men and women who want to be educated, who want to be able to serve the military. It’s good for everybody.”
Senator Reid along with Senators Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) and Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) say the Senate will bring the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act to the floor for a vote. The measure previously failed to pass during the lame duck session of the last Congress when both chambers were under Democratic control.
The bill would allow qualifying illegal aliens to obtain legal residence status.
President Barack Obama addressed the previous failure of the DREAM Act and called for it’s future passage during his speech on immigration in El Paso, Texas yesterday.
We do need the AMERICAN people to rise up, not to support the illegal aliens, but to throw your worthless carcass, along with Obama and his socialist jackasses right out on your worthless cans.
You and your socialist anti-American rats are going to get this country into another shooting revolution to take back our country. If you like the illegals so much, why don't you traipse back to Mexico with them.

There already is a method for them to do so. They didn't like it, didn't want to wait, didn't want to go to the trouble and expense, whatever. The DREAM Act is simply a way for them to jump to the head of the line, while tens of thousands of people who are following the rules will simply have to wait longer... or follow this bad example, and break the law themselves. This bill simply encourages more lawlessness.
Maybe we should follow the same mode of thinking with our taxes. Takes too long, so much trouble, so expensive... Think Harry Reid will support a bill to give amnesty to millions who break that particular set of rules?

I think they should put it on the ballot. That would be fantastic. The politicians will find out how much people don’t want illegals here in America. Of course Reid would never want that because he knows that too. Only one President has welcomed Amnesty. We don’t need two.
Pro-illegal Hispanics rose up and saved Reid's but in NV with 30% unemployment and theirs probably much higher so I guess this is payback. In Maryland Democrats raised our taxes to pay for illegals collenge tuition.
With high unemployment and gas prices I dont see a uprising for amnesty anytime soon.
After seeing the picture of Harry Reied at the press conference on May tenth I just have a couple of questions for Harry.
