Getting to Yes for Mitch and Cheri Daniels
INDIANAPOLIS -- When the Indiana Republican Party found itself in a bind this spring, unable to lock down a high-profile keynote speaker for its big annual fundraising dinner, it was Gov. Mitch Daniels himself who came up with the solution: He'd get his wife, Cheri, to do it.
It was a bold move, considering that she had never given a high-profile speech before and generally has been reluctant to step onto the political stage. At the same time, her husband has been pondering a 2012 presidential bid (pondering it for the better part of 18 months, in fact) and the potential candidate himself has hinted that Cheri's the one person who could stop him -- because she's been described as uncomfortable about the intrusion such a campaign would have on their lives.

If Mitch Daniels were the nominee, he’d need a strong conservative to be his running mate. Herman Cain would be an exciting choice. So would John Bolton.
Good grief. Our ‘representatives’ now spend more time on the campaign trail than in DC representing us.

Mitt needs to hang it up. They only way I’ll support him is if he’s the last man standing. It’ll be another McCain vote. Even then it’ll mean holding my breath, and I don’t know if I have any breath in me anymore.

Republicans own the House but bent over on the budget....Will not hold fast on the debt ceiling either, they will watch it & vote to raise it.
It’s like watching a crash being played over & over in slow motion. With the group of RINOS coming forward & everyone saying “At least they are better than Obama” we are all doomed.
I held my nose & voted Bush twice because that was all we had..he instituted many progressive policies & TARP. I held my nose & almost puked when I voted for McCain & now he runs his mouth about interrogation not being a good method on prisoners.
Here we go again. Obama should be easy to defeat with a true CONSERVATIVE yet we get whitewashed Bush era cronies all loved by Karl Rove.

This article is about Daniels, not McConnell. Mitch Daniels has never been a Senator.

As the field thins out, I’m looking for Sarah to take the stage.
That being said, I will vote for any GOP nominee against the Marxist Commie who now occupies that office.

She is every bit culpable for the extremely dangerous situation in bold, empowered North Korea today with nuke plants operating with inpunity and Taepodong ICBMs, as is Clinton before her and Obama after her. Reprehensible track record. Her and her water boy, Ambassador Chris Hill. Would as soon vote third party than vote for ANY ticket containing her.
I’d probably vote for Daffy Duck over Obama.
