How can they archive having employment without using fake or stolen documents ? I do not call that following state or federal laws. They give them a free pass on document fraud.
There passing the same nonsense in CT as we speak. If the GOP can’t sweep this upcoming election, this country is truly lost.

Federal law passed in 1996 prohibits illegal aliens from receiving in-state tuition rates at public institutions of higher education. Specifically, Section 505 of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (Title 8, Chapter 14, Sec. 1623(a)) states: “an alien who is not lawfully present in the United States shall not be eligible on the basis of residence within a State (or a political subdivision) for any postsecondary education benefit unless a citizen or national of the United States is eligible for such a benefit (in no less an amount, duration, and scope) without regard to whether the citizen or national is such a resident.”

In what was as much a rally as a press conference, immigrant rights advocates Friday pushed for ratification of both federal and state versions of the so-called Dream Act, to help some of those in America illegally move on as citizens.
The downtown Chicago event drew three of the state’s top elected officials including U.S. Sen. Richard Durbin, Mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, all Democrats but notably not U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk, R-Ill., who says he wants to secure the borders first.
The Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights event was called to lobby for a bill reintroduced this week by Mr. Durbin to grant legal status to immigrants who entered the country illegally before age 16, have lived here at least five years, and have earned a high school diploma or GED or been accepted into college.
