On Friday, we brought you a very curious clip from CNN host Fareed Zakaria, in which he discusses how the president calls him for wisdom and advice. At the time, it seemed pretty clear and damning. Glenn Beck took significant time lambasting both CNN and Zakaria for having someone that says hes a journalist actually advising the president. It seems the message got back to Zakaria, becuase now hes denying that characterization.
In a blog post from Saturday night, Zakaria tries to dispel the notion that hes advising the president, even putting the term in scare quotes. Heres what he says in the post titled, Clarifications on my conversations with the president:
The characterization that I have been advising President Obama is inaccurate. Over the last few months Ive had a couple of conversations with the president, off-the-record. At no point did President Obama ask me for advice on a specific policy or speech or proposal, nor did I volunteer it. I know that he has had similar meetings with other columnists.

It’s the post-truth world.
Cat’s out of the bag.
The list, ping

And which other columnists would that be?????????
Read wiki...Daddy was an expert on Islam.
Nobody cares in integrity or truth. This will disappear under a rug within a week.
On foreign policy? I'd guess Tom Friedman of the NYT. He's reliably leftist, banal, and shares the president's post-American world view.
Where else is Obama going to turn to find someone even more arrogant than himself? (possibly)
Israel needs to disappear.
Smart-ass America deserves to be knocked down about ten pegs.
We know Sarah Palin isn't stupid. We know she is on to us and therefore she is dangerous.
CNN needs to turn further to the left.
Communism rocks!
Who are you going to believe, me or your stinkin eyes?
Taqiyya.
Good one!
It would explain much about why Obama’s foreign policy is a shambles.
No doubt Obamao is enthralled with Krugman of the NYSlimes.
They share a vision of a destroyed economy.
His arrogance prompted the revelation. Again, his arrogance prompts this clarification- he thinks people are stupid.
Fareed Zakaria may not be a sex symbol yetor on anyones shortlist for secretary of State either (at least not this decade). But since 9/11, when he wrote a defining piece on the meaning of the terror attacks, hes become one of the more influential and original voices on American foreign policy and politics. Hes an Indian-born, Yale- and Harvard-educated Muslim who moves easily between Condoleezza Rice and Pervez Musharraf, Tony Blair and Prince Turki Al-Faisal. Hes a conservative who is willing to question one of the most cherished principles of the Westdemocracy
Fareed is the perfect Obama advisor. Foriegn, far left, and totally anti-American.
