NBC Announces Celebrity Apprentice On Schedule For Next Year With Or Without Trump
by Matt Schneider | 4:14 pm, May 15th, 2011

This week the television networks are announcing their schedules for the 2011-2012 season and the first headline breaking is that the Celebrity Apprentice will be back. Is the return of NBC’s hit show a sign that no matter how many times Donald Trump flirts with the possibility of running for President, this is proof that in fact he will not run, and will instead be back in the board room on NBC airwaves?

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, NBC programming chief Robert Greenblatt didn’t officially pull the plug on Trump’s potential campaign, saying “if he decides to run and is unavailable to do the show, we will bring the show back and someone else will be sitting at the head of the board table.” Yet Greenblatt added “we are still hoping to have Donald back” and suggested the franchise is too strong to not have a replacement sit-in for Trump while he pursued the highest office. With just two episodes left in this season, the speculation about Trump’s future will likely end soon. Although given that NBC knows how integral Trump is to the franchise, it seems like renewing the show now definitely could serve as a hint for what Trump will announce.

Would Trump really give up Celebrity Apprentice to someone else? I don't think he'll run. He won't do anything that would require him to disclose tax returns or other financial information.

Unlikely. He did give Martha Stewart a shot on the 'normal' Apprentice. I think it flopped.

Doesn't seem a big deal to schedule since it's a "mid-season" show and Trump will be in or out by January.

There are several flamboyant billionaires, who could do a good job hosting and judging Celebrity Apprentice. Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, and Steven Balmer come to mind. Whether or not they'd do the job is another matter — it's not like they're waiting tables, while waiting for their big showbiz break.

They should give the job to obama.
He could appoint a blue ribbon panel to search for contestants and have them issue a report next year.

Trump is a realist and he has groomed his children to take over the business.

It's interesting to watch them on his show. They're certainly very impressive. I'm messmerized by their posture, their directness and I bet their shoes are spit shined.

Wow...he must be sooooo proud.

Either way, Donald has it covered.

Would I vote for him?? You bet...He's a realist...and the only one who has said...Don't build that mosque!!

A "Love Note" Sent To Jim Robinson

“I do so enjoy these money raising pleas. Too bad you kicked off so many patriots back in the day that criticizing the big spending Bush was a cardinal sin on the so called conservative free republic.

Nope, I will happily continue to freeload information from this site. If the lights go dark, well, so be it...”

I’ve said he won’t run from the beginning.
He’s just messing with the Marxist/Muslim usurper.
And I hope he keeps on messing with him.
He’s been the only one with guts enough to confront him.

Why am I so suspicious? For instance; Why have we heard hardly a peep out of The Donald since the day BHO’s lackies released that phony balony counterfeit Long Form CLB? The more I think about it, the more inclined I am to believe that Trump’s entire rant was engineered as a means of letting BHO “release” a worthless fraudulent piece of paper that would be praised to the skies by the MSM and the democRATs. And any FUTURE mention of a CLB could be attacked as old racist fanaticism. At that point Trump’s job would have been finished and he need only slowly fade into the political sunset. Am I a bad person for thinking this way?

Trump has been very “polite” while this Osama is dead thing is going on. Sometimes you just sit down and wait your turn. Donald is doing just right and picking up some insight at the same time.
