Its absolutely clear the only permanent solution for Californias problems is to elect a two-thirds majority of Democrats in each house of the Legislature
That certainly is the final solution for them. Off the cliff.
My thinking exactly. Lets hope the dems get a 75% majority and let them get the state out of the mess they got the state into.

If GM was too big to fail, wait until California threatens to default.
Obama will have a sachel full of cash to Moonbeam’s office faster than you can say “slush fund”.
Unless Boner gets his financial arm of the gov’t under control...to which I say...LOL!!!
As California goes, so goes the nation.

It would be fun to watch the liberal enclaves of Ca, Il, and NY descend into oblivion.
Just bide your time. It’s happening!

Last election the government unions put 200+ million, so if they select who they want to remove and provide the manpower and resources they could pull it off.
Hope our tea party folks go out and counter door-to-door against this war.

I can’t speak for men that I do not trust... but if boehner does not lie and they do not raise the debt limit... the government will be forced to cut spending across the board... and that is the only way that we will ever get things started in the right direction. If boehner caves... America is over and california will not matter anyway.

“the government will be forced to cut spending across the board”
And, like the budget theatrics, Obama will FIRST cut off military pay and Social Security checks to rile up the sheeple, the media will gleefully report the sob stories, and, in the end, the Repubs will fold.
We’ve already seen, many times, how this soap opera plays out.

continuing demographic shifts
That is code for the Hispanic vote, both legal and illegal. And if you think CA is the only state being affected, think again. Almost every state has large Hispanic populations. And these people vote ~90% Rat. Even Texas is turning Left.
The Rats are determined to pass amnesty and the Chamber of Commerce will be cheer-leading them. If Obama wins on 2012 he will probably get to pack the Supremes so even if they cannot get the amnesty through the Congress, they will do it through the courts. For example it was through the courts that we have to provide welfare and schooling regardless if the people are illegals.
For all the rest of you in other states this reminds me of the epitaph on Boot Hill in Tombstone, AZ. "Where you were I once was; where I am you soon wil be."

I have my doubts as to whether boehner has lied to us... I do not trust the man... but if he refuses to raise the debt limit or the dims do not agree to massive cuts equaling or exceeding the debt limit raise... then watch and see what happens.

CA has been lost for years. After my last visit there I swore I will never be back.I felt that way, too, after going back to visit family last summer. The state has a run-down look to it--not what you'd expect for a place where the cost of living is so high. Someone asked me recently if I'm planning on returning to CA at some point; I really couldn't answer. The state I grew up in is gone. It's a shame, its natural beauty is unrivaled .

It sounds as if you think there is a will on both sides to do what is necessary? There is not in either party... but refusing to raise the debt limit will force everyone into reality. It’s either that or nuke us from orbit... “it’s the only way”.

Can a 2/3 democrat majority really save California?
That asks the question, is it that progressive liberalism can now be fully implemented and that will save the state?
Or is progressive liberalism now fully implemented and the state will now fully IMPLODE into a dictatorship?
