When she was 200+ votes ahead, she declared victory.
She asked Prosser’s camp to concede, to spare the state going through a recount, since it was clear that 200+ was enough of a margin not to be overturned in a recount.
But when she ended up 7,000+votes behind, that’s when we need recounts and investigations into how ballots are handled and all that. None of that was needed when one candidate has a 200+ vote margin, but all of that is needed when the spread is 7,000+ votes.
I don’t understand the liberal mind, and liberal lack of consistency in positions taken. I probably never will.
Nothing to understand, it’s called rank hypocrisy.
Try this: For leftists, words are only tools and weapons; they have no intrinsic meaning. The ends justify the means.
I can help.
When Klopper was up 200+ votes after the initial count, it was to her advantage to argue that Prosser was hopelessly behind and should concede. Now that she's down 7000, it's to her advantage to argue that the system is badly flawed and that bags of votes in areas that voted heavily for Prosser should be thrown out.
Liberals (leftists) are completely and entirely consistent. They support any position that increases their power, and oppose those that threaten to reduce it.
Everything else is noise.
It's easy to understand their mindset: Winning is the only thing!
What is hard to accept is that they have no shame about it, and yet think they are on the moral high ground.

It's the greatest book on politics ever written and gives a perfect model for "the liberal mind".
