I’ll admit I was wrong. I had no idea anyone manufactured sub-sonic 7.62 x 51mm ammo.

Missing is the discussion of magazine size, caliber, and round placement.

Lurker, I was thinking you meant to tell me there’s no *quality* 7.62x51 subsonic out there that you’ve found satisfactory so far...

I’ve got a National Match M1-A that I’d like to use as a test platform for ss ammunition. I’ve been hand-rolling my own for quite a while but I generally stay withing the recommended velocities and pressures for obvious reasons.
M1-A’s don’t like velocities much above 2600 fps or so. I’ve never tried sub-1100 fps before. Does that stuff have enough impulse to cycle the action reliably?
Thanks.

EBR requires manually cycling the action. “You want it that way” is what they’ll say. Best thing about the M1A is that cycling the action is much easier than cycling an AR10, in the case of subsonic ammo.

That was before they invented meth.

Depends on your location , in urban areas a suppressor equiped .22 with scope is good out to 100 meters & past 50 feet nobody hears a thing. 8^)

You need license to own a machine gun or suppressor here in Colorado.
