Dallas student, 12, duct-taped to chair and beaten by classmates while teacher ignored attack: mom

A 12-year-old Dallas student was bound to a chair with duct tape and beaten by four classmates as a substitute teacher stood and ignored the attack, according to the victim's mom.

The Dallas school district is investigating the charges made by Keneshia Richardson, who claims the attackers wrapped tape around her son's mouth to keep him from shouting.

"It was uncalled for," Richardson told The Dallas Morning News, adding her son had trouble breathing.

The woman said his hands were taped to the chair, he was wrapped with a telephone cord, and the attackers knocked him to the ground. The boy's shirt was torn as well, she claimed.

It's too blasted bad that the anti-bullying movement has hitched its wagon to the star of "gay rights," because we have needed an anti-bullying movement for decades. Bullying is a problem that simply won't seem to go away even in a PC "everybody's beautiful except those awful rednecks" type of culture. And I'm afraid some conservatives may be prejudiced against anti-bullying movements as a "utopian scheme" to change human nature.

No, we can't change human nature but we can teach and enforce decent behavior and we can punish people who perpetrate atrocities like this.

In their lefty activism training, teachers are encouraged to single out politically incorrect boys for negative pressure (aka, bullying). We had one straight out of college try to implement this program at the elementary school in town.

She wanted to single out the classroom trouble makers and have the kids surround them and stomp their feet so the kid the teacher hates would be afraid to “act up” again in class. It was to be a daily “exercise.” The teacher was a lesbian activist and this strategy of re-education is from Mao.

We had a substitute teacher in the Atlanta area relieve himself in the classroom. Maybe he should have used “Duck” tape.
