Looks to be that we all are still around! :)
Prayers for your safety and success of mission, tx, in Kandahar.
I hope the folks who were bilked out of all their money by
that guy string him up by his thumbs! :)
A Blessed Lord’s Day to you, ML.
Have you recovered from your recital? Any breathing space, or right back to work? ((HUGS))
How are you and Linda doing?
Shows you just how gullible people are!
A friend of mine pastors a church in a small mountain community not far from Boise, Idaho. The community is nestled in a wooded valley through which a pleasant little stream meanders. Behind the church and alongside the stream is a grove of willows, a length of grass, and a sandy beach. Its an idyllic spot that has long been a place where members of the community gather to picnic.
One day, a man in the congregation expressed concern over the legal implications of outsiders using the property. If someone is injured, he said, the church might be sued. Though the elders were reluctant to take any action, the man convinced them that they should post a sign on the site informing visitors that this was private property. So the pastor posted a sign. It read: Warning! Anyone using this beach may, at any moment, be surrounded by people who love you. I read his sign the week after he put it up and was charmed. Exactly, I thought. Once again grace has triumphed over law!
This love for ones neighbor springs from Gods kindness, forbearance, and patience with us. Its not the law, but the goodness of God that draws men and women to repentance (Rom. 2:4) and to saving faith in His Son Jesus Christ.
Read: John 1:14-18
Good.
I’m glad i wasn’t “Left Behind”!
I went for a motorcycle ride, and i don’t know if maybe I missed something while I was out cruisin’.
Last Sunday was the last recital until next Spring.
Some kids leave for the Summer, and some stay, so my work load (and income) is greatly reduced. But I can focus on losing weight and maybe writing some new music.
Linda is the bestest doggie in the Solar system! We are best buddies forever and ever! (((HUGS)))
Well, I would imagine that being out on that motorcycle is
almost “rapturous”! :)
You didn’t miss a thing! :)
Sure does! If they had just read the bible, they would have
known the truth of the matter! :)
It truly is...except when one is surrounded on all sides by 18 Wheelers! LOL!
But tonight, for some reason, the Interstate was pretty empty.
Maybe Harold’s Rapture was just for Truck Drivers?
Good Lord’s Day, Seven....reading about the wives now. not a good life, no way, no how.
Could be! Love the interstate...hate to be beside one on a
motorcycle! I feel like a bug fixin’ to be squashed! ;)
I didn’t think so!
hahahahahaha
(Jesus says) But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. (New King James Version)
Yeah, there are a lot of charlatans in this world!
The real sad thing thing is that many of the Pastor's followers gave away their earthly possessions and cleaned out their savings accounts..:=(
