Rick Perry? How do I feel about Rick Perry?
I think the guy is an excellent politician.
He pisses me the hell off with things like the Trans Texas Corridor and all his blinking toll roads.
But, for the most part, he listens if we bitch.
That’s more than many politicians do.

Effective range with factory loads is only 25 ft. on a large target, like a tree rat. I load 17 grains, same as factory. The problem is sealing the wad in the bore. I now use a much wetter (silicone-soaked) plug and that has seemed to improve things. I won't know until I can chrono it.

We just had some twisters, baseball hail, and whole lot of nasty stuff that just missed us. Not so for some folks I know. I’m saying prayers.

Yep, it sounds like the Joplin Missouri area got hit pretty hard.
We’re quite a ways north of there in the Quad Cities (Davenport).
