Sarah Palin's aides push back on new book
Politico ^ | 5/23/11 | ANDY BARR

The book won’t be out until Tuesday, but Sarah Palin’s team is already pushing back hard against former aide Frank Bailey’s “Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin,” telling POLITICO that the purported tell-all “belongs on the fiction shelves.”

In their first comments about the book since several media outlets obtained a leaked manuscript in February, two sources close to Palin disputed several of the anecdotes in the book, including his claims of illegal coordination with the Republican Governors Association and that he has seen Palin’s deposition in the so-called “Troopergate” case, which is sealed. Palin’s camp also insists that some of the Palin emails printed in the manuscript are framed to distort events — for example, the emails Bailey includes to show the former Alaska governor’s reaction to her oldest daughter’s pregnancy are about rumors that circulated before Bristol actually became pregnant.

When you take a job - do you work for the boss or against the boss?

The book is a stupid waste of time.

You don’t think Palin is vetted with all of the news coverage?

LOL.

This guy is a disgruntled employee, no different than the schmuck that is lying about Lance Armstrong who has been tested 500 times for doping.

...and he is mad because the Governor didn’t take his advice...waaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.

This kind of tripe is as predictable as the sunrise. I expect we’ll see a few more ‘inside’ books that trash Sarah Palin with innuendo and out-of-context quotes from e-mails or other sources, depending on the author. It’s all part of the unending attempt by the left to either discourage Palin from running for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination or demonize her in voters perceptions, should she dare to run, anyway (which I hope she does). The co-authors (it took 2?) are longtime anti-Palin bloggers so Frank Bailey’s pose of trashing Sarah Palin more in sorrow than anger is totally bogus. It’s just another basically unsubstantiated hit-piece on Palin intended to hurt her image as the honest, decent and patriotic Christian lady she is - and that the left cannot abide. Screw them.

Prior to writing the book with bloggers Ken Morris and Jeanne Devon, Bailey approached now-Palin aide Rebecca Mansour about writing what book. Mansour, then a blogger for the Palin fan site conservatives4Palin, turned him down — though she says at that point, Bailey pitched it as a positive account of the former governor.

Smart move by Mansour.

There are at least two more that I have heard of. One by the nosy neighbor Joe McGinniss that rented the house next door in Wasilla so he could spy on her and the other by Bristol's ex-boyfriend and general slimeball, Levi Johnston.

(BTW, Bristol's older brother Track got married to his high-school sweetheart that knocks the socks off of us guys that like lovely ladies. Pics here:
