quote

Applause did break out when Mr Obama observed that “it’s possible for the sons and daughters of former colonies” to sit as Members of Parliament, and for “the grandson of a Kenyan who served as a cook in the British Army to stand before you as the President of the United States”.

Here was a personal connection rather than a platitude. We warm to Mr Obama, and feel an affinity with him, in part because he is a grandson of the British Empire. As well as being an American, he is one of us.

end quote

Mr. Obama is actually a SON of the British Empire. But as that might draw too much attention to his ineligibility, Obama floats out this clever bit of misdirection that he is a “grandson” and the reporter ran with it!

I recall President Reagan being heckled and he handled himself very well. I also remember Slick being heckled and he handled it well. Barry the Kenyan just doesn’t have it and he sure as heck isn’t a ‘brilliant speaker’.

He’s a moron.

Probably. He sure doesn't mind being a George Soros tool.

Huh. I guess my usual tagline got erased somehow. Thanks, I’ve put it back.

Thank you for that. He obviously did not write that speech.

One cannot be hopelessly tacky, completely undiplomatic, require a teleprompter to put to words together and still be a “brilliant speaker”. He might be a good reader, but not a “brilliant speaker”.

"President Barack Obama is a brilliant speaker, but also a very polite man, and..."

...and I am Queen Elizabeth.

Obama has never given a heart warming speech like Netanyahoo did to congress. You could feel his, Netanyahoo, wanting to be close to USA by the way he casually leaned on the podium and use hands to reach out in a friendship gesture. Obama on the other hand is always in a ‘look down’posture as if he copies Musalinni. Obama has no social skills that liken to ordinary folks. He,Obama, is a product of his upbringing and narcissim. Your catching the fact that Obama referred to his granfather and not to his father makes the case that the man is very devious in covering/hiding the truth with another truth.

Just another illustration of how Obama is unmatched in his ability to be praised to the skies for just showing up. Reminds me of those kids in elementary school who got the “perfect attendance” award but were otherwise quite mediocre and often the troublemakers.

“An American statesman”? Surely they jest. Sorry they’re only now discovering he’s a master of banalities. When are the Eurotrash going to realize that they, like the silly portion of American voters, have been had?

No one can't. But it is shocking how many think he is.

RIGHT about Bibi’s speech being a natural expression of his feelings, while at the same time displaying his statesmanship very clearly, without having to later give another speech to “clarify” what he meant the first time (trying to repair screwups made the first time, like Obama regularly does).

Obama can’t speak without a script unless he’s stumping for votes and has memorized the lines that he repeats ad infinitum. The man [sic?] obviously has shown over the years that he certainly is NOT a statesman when dealing with leaders of other countries. ....They must each do the ROTFLAMO bit once he leaves their countries.
