Is Malloy Staying True To His Word?

HARTFORD, Conn. -- Gov. Dannel Malloy took office during one of the nation's worst recessions. After two months in office, he dropped a bombshell by announcing the largest tax increase in state history.

He did so, despite saying that he felt the middle class was paying an unfair burden in taxes and that he wanted to build a system that was fair to the middle class.

Under Malloy’s tax plan, which passed the state Legislature, the average middle class family will pay between $800 and $900 more a year. Everything is going up: the income tax, the sales tax, even tax on haircuts.

Let’s see, can I stir up sympathy for people stupid enough to vote for a Dem? Sorry, no can do. They have been liars as long as I can remember.

If you are conservative: vote with your feet.

If you are liberal: have a nice day!

I said it once, I’ll say it again... I hope Malloy enjoys his single term as Governor. His impersonation of Red Ned LaMont is impeccable.

And how about the same people of CT electing Richard Blumenthal to the U.S. Senate after he was exposed as a liar with respect to his service in Vietnam. This was also the same guy who could not answer the simple question posed to him during one of the senatorial debates, “How do you create a job”? He literally babbled for five minutes while never answering the question. Didn’t matter. The dumb people of CT voted for him anyhow.

Sometimes, I feel I am on the wrong planet.

“Sometimes, I feel I am on the wrong planet.”

It’s the red state/blue state thing. It sounds like you’re in the wrong state.

Mallow sounds like the Jim Florio of Connecticut.

fortunately, New Hampshire will be heating up for Palin. Just in time for spring weather. While I am gone, if the locals decide to burn this entire state to the ground, I won’t be here to watch it and we still have 49 left. I hope Ct is getting lotsa publicity so the folks out midwest can see what the DEMS are all about in pure form.
