Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has ignited a fresh brushfire of chatter over a possible candidacy on Thursday when she announced a nationwide, campaign-style bus tour to begin Sunday.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who some think could make a stronger run than any of the current candidates, said he's going to "think about" a bid.

CNN Poll:

Giuliani 16%

Romney 15%

Palin 13%

Rudy Giuliani leads new national poll

"Giuliani has the top spot in a 12-candidate field, but he doesn't generate a lot of enthusiasm. Only about a quarter of Republicans nationwide said that they would be enthusiastic if Giuliani won the nomination," said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "But he's not alone — only a quarter would be enthusiastic if Palin got the party's nod, and only one in five would feel the same way if Romney became the GOP's standard bearer in 2012."

It may get ugly in the GOP primary and the Dems will be buying popcorn and watching the Republicans self-destruct.

Does anyone really believe this Rudy spin? This is going to be an economy election, not War on Terror. He was pushed like hell last time and totally bombed. What exactly makes his hand stronger now?

CNN - now THERE's a trustworthy news outlet.

Looks like Giuliani will get the nod.

Servant of the Cross will take this as you endorsing Rudy.

All these recycled candidates (Paul, Rudy, Mitt, etc.) are getting a little long in the tooth. Hopefully Cain will be the candidate to upset the establishment.

Because the media picks our candidates for us now. You didn't get the memo?

Saw an interesting poster in what was a Russian Museum. It was an election poster of Hitler from the mid 30’s that said in German; “Give me 4 more years”. I immediately thought of Obama and had visions of our Götterdämmerung. If the Republicans pick a blah candidate they will get a blah turnout.

The biggest problem the Republicans have is that most of their candidates don’t actually believe what they are telling voters in order to get elected.

Rudy isn’t getting the nomination period.
This is MSM spinning reality into what they want it to be.

I think that Palin is going to enter at some point.
Maybe im wrong but the field isn’t too strong or very conservative.
Cain is conservative but has no experience.

I like Rudy, but - after his abbreviated 08 campaign of only trying to campaign in a few states, it showed me that he doesn’t have the necessary fortitude to deserve to be elected to be the nation’s highest office.

All the RINOs and Establishment types will be pulling for Rudy to jump in. Rudy will be strong on defense, but a weak one on domestic. He’ll be another Bush on the domestic front.

You are absolutely correct!!! In the real world, Obama is toast. The reason the Democrat Party and the far left wingers are going bonkers nutso, is they well know Obama is going down and....so does Obama. Do you really think he gives a hoot about the poor folks in the MidWest, etc. who have been destroyed, devastated, killed and injured by flood or tornado, do you really think he gives a hoot about the unemployed/underemployed folks, do you really think he stays awake at night thinking about the failing plight of Black Americans??? If you do, you are either on drugs or just plain dumb. This guy knows he’s finished, but....he and his “hate America” wife, Moochelle are going to ride the “fat cow” and live high on the hog until they are thrown out of office. And....America and all Americans be damned. So....that is why Pubbies are coming out of the woodwork to run for POTUS. Fact is: only a true conservative can win and, I am confident the Republican Establishment will not get its way this time around. Too much is at stake!!! Get ready for a political war which this country has not seen in a long time. The fate and destiny of our freedom is at stake and....most common sense folks know it!!!
