Doug McIntyre: Where is the outrage?
Los Angeles Daily News ^ | 05/28/2011 | Doug McIntyre

Posted on 05/28/2011 5:07:27 PM PDT by moonshinner_09

I'm damned mad today.

Can't sleep angry. What's it going to take for the so-called leaders of this city to do the right thing?

On March 2nd of 2008, while Sgt. Anita Shaw served her country in Iraq, her son, a Los Angeles High School football star, Jamiel Shaw II - Jas to his friends and family- was murdered three doors from home. Jas fell dead still clutching the phone he had just used to tell his Dad he'd be home in 30 seconds.

Jamiel Shaw Sr. heard the shots that killed his son. He bolted out the door and stood over Jamiel as his young life came to an abrupt end, an unspeakable injustice.

Four years later there is still no justice for Jas.

An illegal immigrant gang-banger named Pedro Espinoza gunned down Jamiel Shaw II. By age 19, Espinoza already had a resumé filled with serious crimes. However, the system being what it is, many of the charges he could have faced were pled down or filed because Espinoza was a youthful offender.

Less than 24 ours after being released from jail on gun charges, Espinoza had another gun and used it to kill Jas because of the color of his skin.

Where is the outrage from Jan Perry?

Where is the outrage from Bernard Parks?

Where is the outrage from Herb Wesson?

Where is the outrage from anyone?

The outrageous truth is Jamiel Shaw's murder was simply a political problem to be managed by cold-blooded politicians whose only concern is the next election.

The Shaw family is PC L.A.'s worst nightmare: an African-American family, fueled by righteous indignation, committed to ending L.A.'s It's easy for the Spring Street crowd to dismiss Talk Radio gasbags and newspaper gadflies,

Gotta love the logic of- Maybe if Espinoza had been caught breaking one of the real laws around here - smoking cigarettes in a park or using a 100-watt light bulb - he would have been deported.

While the Mayor and City Council may have done nothing, Pedro Espinoza has been very busy.

Since killing Jamiel Shaw II he's added five new felonies to his resume, including slashing a handcuffed man in the face with a razor, assaulting a Sheriff Deputy, instigating a riot - all this while awaiting trial!

How much grief, how many ruined lives, how many expenses has this rat inflicted on the good people of Los Angeles?

‘Some folks need killin’ ... Espinoza sounds like one of those, sounds like one of the ones who wave his crotch at news people when the la raza scum are ‘demonstrating’.

How come no one ever says “New York deserves what it gets?” Or Atlanta or Miami or any other American city with a sky-high illegal alien crime rate?

I guess it’s easier to pile on Los Angeles than to accept your responsibility for not doing anything about the abrogation of the nation’s borders.

It’s not Los Angeles’ fault — it’s America’s fault.

Los Angeles and Southern California are run by the American left.

Go yell at them. They won’t care.

Hard to feel sorry for the people of southern Cali.

The lefties are doing what they can to address the problem. They intend to drive all workers/taxpayers/businesses out of the state into the open arms of Texas and Oklahoma. The remaining population will be illegal, they can shoot each other.

33,000 incarcerated mutants HELD in California prisons will be released in a years time, first of many planned meanwhile Van Jones is on a whirlwind tour of our prison systems telling them they are the entreprenuers of the future of America. Brings to mind a statement our community organizer and chief shouted at a rally in 2008, “we need a national security force just as well armed and trained as the military. WHY? Deliberate!

Believe it or not, Doug McIntyre voted for Obama. I heard him say it this past week on his NY radio show.

I don’t think I’ll be listening to him anymore.

You made your bed Doug, now lie in it.

It doesn’t matter if our local government is run by the left or the right — the Federal government claims sole jurisdiction over immigration enforcement.

Everything we’ve tried to do help ourselves vis-a-vis the invasion has been shut down by the Feds.

And the rest of America just blames us, the besieged citizens, for the fact that a sovereign American state has been colonized by a foreign country. And these colonizers are killing Americans in numbers unseen outside a battlefield.

Wait till the invaders move on to your state and all you get on FR is “Hard to feel sorry for the people of _______.”

Unlike you, I’ll feel sorry for your state, whatever it is.

“How come no one ever says “New York deserves what it gets?” Or Atlanta or Miami or any other American city with a sky-high illegal alien crime rate?”

Somehow we in SoCal are supposed to be responsible for what the open-borders pro-illegal alien politicians have done to our state. It’s our fault that a Federal judge conspired with Gray Davis to gut Prop 187 on the ‘90s. It’s our fault that Dubya did his damnedest to push amnesty and to pander to illegals in the 2000s. And now that that immigration has transformed California into an electoral lock for the left wing of the Democrat party that’s our fault, too.

Keep voting for liberal democrats out there in colly-four-nia. This is what you get.

Keep voting for people that devalue life. (abortion, euthanasia, death panels)

Keep voting for people who think traditional marriage is a quaint idea whose time has passed.

Keep voting for people who make places like where you live a sanctuary city

Keep voting for people who won't build the damn fence

Keep voting for people who let illegals and prisoners VOTE.

Keep voting for people who are more worried about political correctness than the life of a young man.

Sorry for your loss, but you got just what you and people like you have voted for, over and over and over again.

Got any other kids? Nephews, nieces, grand kids, brothers, sisters, parents? It's only a matter of time before one of them becomes another statistic. In the mean time..... keep voting for them democrats, as I'm sure you will.

T - I can't tell your state by the flag on your home page: but if you ever have an earthquake, tornado, tsunami, or plague of locust; don't ask me for help.

We, the voters, opted for marriage protection, for secure borders, for incarcerating bad guys - and we've gotten none of those things because of courts, special interests, and an uncanny ability to vote for good laws and bad politicians.

Please note that I'll give you half credit if you are willing to make the same disparaging comment regarding New Jersey because their supreme court ordered governor Christie to dump more useless money on their school system because any cuts would be unfair to the state's parasite population.

Good article by Doug. A lot of us really ARE outraged but we don’t even have a radio show or a column in the paper! There is practically NOTHING for us to do! Illegals and/or the officials who pander to them RUN THIS PLACE.

In mainstream media, no one even dares use the truth “illegal aliens.” They are called IMMIGRANTS. Even “undocumented” is too mean to say. It would be RACIST to stop them from coming across our border, racist to ask for their IDs, racist to send them back to Mexico (or where they came from).

They are allowed to live lawlessly in shantytowns while we in classier neighborhoods are fined for an uncut lawn or the wrong color of trim on our home.

WHAT CAN WE EVER DO???? By letting them vote, no ID ever required in the polling place, no need to speak, read, or understand English, the rest of us HAVE NO VOICE. We are the unprotected minority (I include all non-illegals and non-panderers in this group, of any race.)

We’ve got the outrage; what can we do with it?

I lost all respect for Doug when he started to talk about how he was going to vote for Obama, shortly before the election. He had no good reason; you could tell he was convinced by all his Hollywood friends. It was really disappointing. It didn’t take long for him to lose his job on KABC morning drive after that.

Now he is on the graveyard shift all over the country and still makes excuses for Obama. He used to be such a classic political conservative, on the political and financial sides. I would hope that he would admit to being disappointed and regret his vote, but no. Not yet.

But I am with him on this issue. This was a good essay and I agree with him, though still don’t know what to do about it. Illegals are more protected than spotted owls.

You may not be voting for libs but your taxes are enabling them. Last time I checked there was no fence on the California border. Heck, any Mexican could have told you that. You don't have to put up with it you can vote with your feet. If you don't then you are obviously willing to put up with the inconveniences.

That's unfortunate. I actually enjoy Red-Eye Radio but have noticed that Doug bends over backwards to draw a false equivalence between the criticism Bush got and that which Obama presently gets, like it's just two sides of the same coin. Evidently Doug has been in California too long, and his political objectivity lobe has atrophied.
