North Dakota - Missouri River Flood + Garrison Dam Release
29 May 2011

Posted on 05/29/2011 9:54:01 AM PDT by Lando Lincoln

The US Army Corps of Engineers continue to increase the release from the Garrison Dam. By June 2, they will be discharging at 120,000 cubic feet per second with 150,000 cfs soon afterwards. Meanwhile, about 4,000 homeowners are desperately trying to save their property in Mandan and Bismarck. My brother is one of them. My sons are there with my other brother and a friend helping out.

If anyone has any updates from that area, I'd sure like to know.

North Dakotans know how to take care of their own - they are amazing people.
