Hacking into someones account is a serious offense.
You pretty much nailed it. If Weiner had nothing to do with this, and it was a genuine case of online account intrusion/hacking we'd hear no end to his cries of victimhood and calls for more laws, regulations, and harsher penalties for cyber criminals. In otherwords, he did it himself.

Weiners toast.

Why would you need an attorney if all you have to do is contact the FBI about someone hacking into a Congressperson’s account? He wouldn’t need “advice” on how to handle this, if his account was always above board.
If your house was broken into when you got home, you would call the POLICE, not your attorney, UNLESS OF COURSE there were illegal things in your home, in which case you had better call your attorney FIRST.
Hmmmm.

Does the posted photo have the meta data attached? Has someone checked to see if the date, time and location consistent with Weiner’s schedule?

Has he filed a police report? If not why not? Lying to the public and his constituents is normal, filing a false police report is a crime. If he won’t file a police report the House has standing to call in LEA to protect its members. Let’s investigate now.

We don’t need Weiner’s wiener as evidence here; his THIGH should be good enough. Who else has a thigh that skinny? That hacker must have worked the streets of Manhattan for days to find someone with an equally skinny set of legs.

Yours is the first posting I’ve seen since this story broke explaining what a DM is and the part it plays in Twitter. Thank you!

All it takes to sort this out is somebody ask Huma Abedin if those are Weiner’s briefs covering that Wiener.

we all know darn well that if he were a Republican, the media would already be marching with torches and pitchforks even if the account was indeed hacked. "It's the seriousness of the charge that matters."
"Perhaps his accounts were hacked, but we must ask ourselves, 'even if fake, isn't it still accurate?'"
"Yes, perhaps a hacking took place, but the larger question is not even why the photo was where it could be hacked; but, we must ask, 'why did it exist in the first place'. This goes to the core of a Republican Culture of Corruption."

Most people would call the police - Wiener lawyers up. That should tell you all you need to know.

“but he has no obligation or duty to cooperate with law enforcement.”
Spoken like a true libertarian.

All it takes to sort this out is somebody ask Huma Abedin if those are Weiners briefs covering that Wiener. Exactly! The wife probably buys those grey ribbed boxer briefs. She probably picks up a pack for both Weiner and Hillary while she's at Macy's.
