Guerena worked a job in a mine. How hard would it have been for the sheriff to arrest him at work. I mean there are not exactly a lot of ways in and out of a mine. But, I guess that would have obviated the “fun” of having a SWAT raid by dufus Dupkik.
It’s not easy to put together a drug case over 20 months. I mean look Sheriff Dupnik himself forgot about the case it took so long. He just remembered in time for this meeting.

OK, so when will SCOTUS act to curb “no knock” raids? (and don’t think you can count on Scalia to preserve your liberties)
does arizona have a state police department? Why are they not investigating this? is this a case of politician covering up politician, or is this a case of the blue wall?
Problem was, they didn’t have an arrest warrant for him, only a search warrant for the houses. Supposedly, since they didn’t find anything illegal in his house, they say that if he’d only opened the door and let them in they wouldn’t have had any grounds to arrest him. Or kill him.
Whether that would preclude them from picking him up at work and escorting him home for the warrant execution, I don’t know.

What, turnout gear? Which would make have the guys in the state suspects. Not to mention that they only found out about the storage unit after the raid. Some investigators they are, yessir.

Dupnik blames Political Rhetoric
Dupnik is the primary "unbalanced personalities" and his staff faithfullly follows their unbalanced leader. But we are supposed to "trust government". I don't think so.
I'd guess that that Sahuarita, Oro Valley and Marana are incorporated towns within Pima County, each with its own police department. I suppose there could be some sort of agreement between each department and the County Sheriff's Office to have officers with "certain talents" form the County SWAT team.
Looks like they were uniformly incompetent.
