LONG BEACH, N.Y. - A Long Island police department says it had to call for backup to quell a beach melee involving hundreds of people that spilled out onto the streets and a nearby bus depot.
Long Beach police say they are investigating the incident. There was no immediate word on arrests.
No injuries were reported.
According to Newsday , 11 Nassau police cars and two Metropolitan Transportation Authority police units assisted with the crowd control on Monday evening.
Police say a series of fights erupted on the beach just before it closed at 6 p.m. and continued for several hours. It was not clear whether the fights involved the same group of young people or different groups.

In other words they're attempting to recreate a Rodney King type incident.
Considering the fact every time the left tries to resurrect a Rodney King type incident there has been a terrorist attack or attempted attack (Weather Underground playbook), I'm betting there is a terrorist attack coming down the pike.
They're not Amish.
They're black.
Several generations of leftism practiced in US cities has produced a population of black spoiled brats who never grow up. They have adult bodies (and use them), but they have the mentality of an ill-raised 8 year old.
Their recreational rioting was bad in the late 1980s, when I saw it first hand. 20 years of additional social degradation have made today's recreational rioters far worse.
There's no peaceful solution to this problem.

I'm just not finding the (Amish|Swedish|Whatever) joke very funny any more.
Its the typical blame the police and ignore the animals attitude. Society is assumed to be blameless.
My little town has a virtually zero crime rate. As a result we have a cop car roll through town once or twice a week to fulfill the contract agreement we’ve made with the county.

The fact they are attempting to recreate a R King type situation tells me Hillary is behind it.
This kind of brawling occurred in many locations across the country over the Memorial Day weekend. When you have zero expectations regarding kids’ behavior, this is what occurs. It’s time for the adults to start acting like adults.

They’re practicing for the nationwide riots via 0bama’s command. This must be his “...as well equipped as the military” so-called ‘army’ made up of welfare scum inner-city blacks.

The really sad thing about this is how it has set race relations back 50 years.
I never used to be prejudiced to this level, but the more and more I learn, the less and less I want to risk being around these people. And since the instant separating criteria is “they are black and I’m not” it ends up contaminating my view of all black people.
Does the “black community” even realize what they are doing to themselves by not policing their own kids? Do they even care?
I’d guess not as when Bill Cosby spoke about it a few years back he was called all sorts of foul names.
The blacks have voluntarily put themselves back on the plantation and the behavior of their young people will keep them economic slaves until they learn how to behave in proper society.
Again, truly sad.
I see it as encouraged but not organized. Just general unrest that will grow as the organized unrest of unions start ramping up.

I don’t speak for them, but many of them do, and have been frustrated by feeling powerless to change it. They’ve had the same breakdown in the family all America has suffered, but to an even greater extent. Worse, there are ‘activists’ who encourage them not to take personal responsibility for what they and their children do, to cultivate an eternal victim mindset and that they are owed something, and to blame whatever they can on White people. Responsible members of their community get drowned out by the loudmouths as well.
It was pretty hot yesterday. I don’t know the racial composition of the mob of rioters, but the bus station is next to the train station there, on a line connecting it to Jamaica, Queens and Penn Station in Manhattan, and it’s in a neighborhood of Long Beach that was predominantly Black last time I was through there. Granted though, if it involved the transit center, it might have been of people who had to travel to get there.

Wow, didn’t know there were so many of these incidents.
I had heard about the one in Boston, and there was one in Chicago too, reported in the news.
You wonder if the flash mob thing that people do is part of this. Unfortunately, flash mobs can gather for good things or for the bad.
Wow. I had no idea there were so many Tea Parties over the weekend.
Speaking of prejudice..........
Prejudice means someone has pre-judged, or has an irrational fear or hatred.
Is fear of urban youth gangs really prejudicial? If one has had encounters and bad experiences with belligerant antagonistic threatening people, is it prejudicial to be afraid of them, or try to avoid them?
Or are you using the brain God gave you to avoid dangerous people and situations if you use good judgement to try to stay out of trouble?
I’ve heard that some theme parks, such as Six Flags America near Washington, DC, are in trouble due to this very thing. I have friends in that area, who will not go to Six Flags anymore, due to the large number of gang types there. They create a negative environment. My friends would rather make overnight trips to theme parks in other states, rather than go to a major theme park in their own backyard, due to the clientele of said park. And that’s sad, that certain people just spoil the atmosphere in public places.
