Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin says she is confident she can defeat President Obama in the upcoming 2012 presidential campaign.
Ms. Palin, who has yet to announce her candidacy, said Wednesday that she is confident in her chances of defeating Mr. Obama should she decide to enter the 2012 race.
Asked if she could defeat Mr. Obama, Ms. Palin said, “To put it concisely – yes.”

BTW - conservatives don't live in fear or bow to 'what ifs'. Nor do I choose a candidate but what the independents might do!! They don't control my vote. I do.
Congradulations...we'll just have to wait and see how that works out for ya.
Oh...what are you doing to do is Mrs. Palin does not run?
"Assumptions"??? What assumptions.
I asked a question. I asserted nothing.
pnsn, if you honestly believe the race card won’t be tossed around like a green salad you are in lala land. The truth is fearful but also factual. I believe Herman Cain is “We the People” too. Battles are not won with hearts but brains my friend.
I don't actually know...they're a tough bunch to "label"...however, as of last March, 37% said they would consider voting for the stain and his regime.
I think Perot could have won if he hadn't gone into a self-destruct mode after realizing that he could win!
looking at yesterday’s economic news, Pee Wee Herman would have to be highly confident he could defeat Obama in the next election
Isn’t that what the Donald said also?
Riiiiiight, let's change our underwear from front to back and pretend it's a clean pair...........
Great work!
You seem to thrive on attempting to make argumentative "points" by slinging personal attacks when you can no longer think or respond with clarity and purpose.
So be it....
Don't bother responding any longer to posts I may put up. I shall cerainly ignore yours. You simply are not worth the time.
I see....so what is your "solution"...and please be realistic.
I’ve no crystal ball, no idea if Palin can beat 0bama or not. But if she can’t, for sure nobody else can, and I’d rather lose with her than with anybody else.
McCain said that she could defeat Obama.
That would only show Rinos that we are willing to be chumped INHO.
We need to stand by are principles and maintain ourselves as an uncompromising force to be reckoned with.
I am in full agreement.
That said, we have to have the reins of power IN OUR HANDS.
Standing on the "outside looking in" with our principles intact I'm sure will make us feel good. But it won't change anything.
Kind of brings an old poem to mind: "Here lies the body of John O'Day, who died preserving his right-of-way!"
Substitute uncompromising principles for "right of way" and We/US for "John O'Day" and you have it.
I'd much prefer to work with at the very least a RINO, at best a far right leaning RINO...than ever even consider the possibility that my country would return to power for 4 more years, an evil, communistic, socialist, American hating, muslim/islamic regime "led" by the stain.
Whatever evil may come in with a RINO...it cannot even begin to approach the evil now in power. And it would be an evil that could be made better...that could be worked with...that could be improved. Unlike the evil now holding power....that evil has but one cure - ERADICATION!!!
Refer to my tagline...and let me say this...within the broad and interpretable boundaries of the law...I will do whatever it takes to make my tagline occur.
The Donald said he could defeat Obama also.
I look at things more strategically.
We (I) made a mistake electing the Globalist Establishment Man Bush in 2000 because it had to be “anyone but Gore”.
Looking at the history of US presidents, the Democrat elected after the esablishment Republican got progressively worse, LBJ, Carter, Clinton, Obama.
By extrapolating that data, my question is, who gets elected after Romney, the Anti-Christ?
I’ll stand by my statement, we HAVE to elect a reformer.
Remeber Clarence Thomas?
The Obama voting idiots will eat up the “Uncle Tom” slander job the media will surely do to Cain. Count on it.
OK...let's look at that. A choice was made...and it took a USSC decision to provide Bush with the win. What would have occured if Gore had won?
Looking at the history of US presidents, the Democrat elected after the esablishment Republican got progressively worse, LBJ, Carter, Clinton, Obama.
Let's be sure to include some of the rino/repub/conserv/tpartyer goofs as well, shall we? Nixon, Bush I, Bush II....
By extrapolating that data, my question is, who gets elected after Romney, the Anti-Christ?
You're assuming rom-knee is going to be elected, yes? Not a sure thing by a country mile...but let's assume you're correct...just for fun.
Who will come after Romney? I don't know. But the dem/lib/prog/pop alternative to Romney in 2012 makes the question moot. For if a Romney, or Palin, or Cain, or anyone else from the rino/repub/conserv/tparty isn't put in office in 2012, there may well be no viable country in 2016 left to worry about.
Ill stand by my statement, we HAVE to elect a reformer.
I'm all for a reformer in office. WHO??? And what realistic chance do they have of being actually elected? None.
When it comes down to it, the choice in '12 is going to be the stain and his entire regime for the final four years of the great American experiment....or some rino/repub/conserv/tpartyer....
The choice is yours...and ours.
