If Palin uses the old 1992 Clinton campaign mantra, “It’s the economy, stupid,” she would win in a landslide. Especially if she supports a major reform our currently overly-complex income tax system.

The economy is about to fall of a cliff and as James Carville rightly said.

Its the Economy, Stupid.

Bush 41 was at 91% after Gulf War 1, Obama got a bounce by being President while Bin Laden was killed.

Might be a negative if we have a terror event.

Anyway it will be the economy in 2012 and Summer of 2011 ain't looking good.

The site has a poll at their link. Sarah Palin is leading.

She's a little over 50% (out of four choices).

Question for all who read this: how does Mrs. Palin go about attracting the "independent" voter? So far, she's not doing well in that demographic, and she must if she's to win the Presidency.

Of course, assuming she runs!

True, but who would they vote for otherwise? Obama? I think not.

He’s back in the minus 11 range and has been for weeks. No bounce.

What was Sarah and the Donald doing together yesterday?

No matter who the Conservatives send to the WH, he/she will have to reverse a GREAT deal of damage AND govern through the hardest of hard times ahead.

I hope that the Conservative leader will succeed without permanent damage to American Conservatism. THAT fix, along with all the other problems of the nation, will make things much worse.

I wonder if Obama is going to pull a “Carter” and refuse all but one debate with Palin, like 1980.

My memory isn’t the best, but I recall that Carter refused all debates that included Anderson, the 3rd party guy. I think that Reagan wanted Anderson included but Carter was having none of it.

The reason I remember their one & only one on one debate is it was held in my beloved Cleveland.

“Are you better off now, than you were four years ago?”

And the rest, my FRiends...is history. :)

“It’s America, stupid’ will work, also. The economy is the result.

True, but who would they vote for otherwise? Obama? I think not.

The independent voter who does not vote is every bit as harmful and dangerous as if they voted for the stain. Make no mistake about that. In fact, the stain's handlers and campaign managers are and will continue to work very hard disparaging and wrecking any conservative candidate they feel is gaining real traction with the independent voter block. They are aware most of them would never vote FOR the stain. So...they will do all in their power to get them to stay home on election day.

He’s back in the minus 11 range and has been for weeks. No bounce. If I may paraphrase a song, "It's a long, long way...from June to November...." Also, today, June 2, 2011, Rassmusen has the stain's "Total Approval" rating sitting comfortably at 48.5%, exactly where it's been since mid year '09. If this rating does not drop...AND REMAIN...below 36%, the stain (and his entire regime) will remain in power until 2016.

Lousy. As of March, '11, only 37% might vote FOR the stain. However, the independent voter who does not vote at all is every bit as harmful and dangerous as the one who votes FOR the stain. Make no mistake about that. In fact, the stain's handlers and campaign managers are and will continue to work very hard disparaging and wrecking any conservative candidate they feel is gaining real traction with the independent voter block. They are aware most of them would never vote FOR the stain. So...they will do all in their power to get them to stay home on election day

If independents aren’t attracted to a fighter and a known ‘We the People” candidate - there is nothing ‘independent’ about them. Big gov’t wusses would suit them better.

After 8 years of Clinton, I was thrilled to get Bush over Gore. I understand the sentiment of having to throw out Obama, but we have to accept the fact that Bush did NOT clean the STAIN on Clinton from America.

Clinton should have gone down for Waco or the Chi-com treason WAY before the Lewinsky mess.

We HAVE to elect a reformer third party if the GOP gives us another establishment RINO.
