She's a little over 50% (out of four choices).
Question for all who read this: how does Mrs. Palin go about attracting the "independent" voter? So far, she's not doing well in that demographic, and she must if she's to win the Presidency.
Of course, assuming she runs!
True, but who would they vote for otherwise? Obama? I think not.
He’s back in the minus 11 range and has been for weeks. No bounce.
What was Sarah and the Donald doing together yesterday?
How’s obama doing with those same independent voters?
If independents aren’t attracted to a fighter and a known ‘We the People” candidate - there is nothing ‘independent’ about them. Big gov’t wusses would suit them better.
“Question for all who read this: how does Mrs. Palin go about attracting the “independent” voter? So far, she’s not doing well in that demographic, and she must if she’s to win the Presidency. “
The answer is coming up with an effective counter to the nonstop drumbeat of anti-Palin, anti-Tea Party PR.
Videos need to be made. Produced by Palin, produced by independents. Care needs to be taken though that the video production crews aren’t covertly liberal.
More than anything this is a battle for hearts and minds. I would like to see us make inroads in the 33% of hard core liberal voters that Obama takes for granted. If we can gain ground there, the mushy middle that we need to win will come along for the ride.
The growing number of dedicated liberals is the greatest peril this nation has ever faced. If we can’t persuade them to abandon their failed and discredited ideology, then the country will fall ultimately.
The 50/50 “squeaker” elections of Bush/Kerry and Bush/Gore were indicative of how close to the precipice we were in terms of the electorate. Winning a single election won’t change anything but the rate of slide into the pit.
The truth needs to be presented as omnipresently as the lies.
Palin has been a target more than anyone since she first came one the national stage. It’s been quite an interesting phenomenon to watch. When I try to explain the why of it the most reasonable explanation is found in Jesus’ words:
The world hates me, It’s going to hate you.
Sarah Palin’s Christianity is apparent in how she lives her life. The world hates her for no other reason. But the hatred is visceral. So should we choose a less polarizing candidate so that we win the election?
I feel that we would do so at our peril. Sarah Palin is best able to mock the flaws in liberalism and the cult of Obamaism and offer a real hope instead. We should give her a big stage to do it from.
Will “Independents” support Obama?
I doubt it.
