Best of luck to him........as in, Best of luck when I announce my candidacy, take you to the cleaners, and show America what a socialist RINO you really are. Why bother to listen to Sarah Palin when I have so many who want to tell me what she REALLY means. ;-)

It’s amazing that you PDSer guys have been pretty mum on FR of late concerning Mrs. Palin - you can’t attack her for the history tour or for making the media look like fools, just a little snarky remarks here and there
To: Bigtigermike
Awe...did I ruin one of your little Palin Worship Threads and make babytigermike cry? Do you need your blanky?

You are correct...and the NEXT verse is even more telling of the MSM and those who deride and scorn her...
2 Corinthians 2:15-16 (The Message)
15 Because of Christ, we give off a sweet scent rising to God, which is recognized by those on the way of salvationan aroma redolent with life. 16 But those on the way to destruction treat us more like the stench from a rotting corpse.

I like the Message paraphrase on that set of verses.
I’ve been referring to 2 Cor 2:15-16 ever since Palin came on the scene. It explains the reaction to her perfectly.

You’re coming across as a crazy person.
Already you’ve made this thread about your private psychosis.
Next thing we know, you’ll be out chasing a privately-owned bus across America, shouting ‘Come back you media whore!’

Re #31:
Go back as far as you wish on FR and you’ll never ONCE find me saying anything bad about Sarah Palin. My insults (and yes they are insults, I make no bones about that) are aimed at what I deem a Cult of Personality that has grown up around her. When I point this out to people like yourself though they refuse to look in a mirror and question that they might have an obsession. Instead they find it easier to just run off screaming “PDS! PDS!”. It’s so much easier to make this be about a 3rd party, Governor Palin, than it is to address the Cult that some, though not all, on FR have formed around her, is it not?

Thanks so much for your valuable insight. Here I thought the reason I liked Sarah Palin so much was because I admired her as a person and believed that her prescriptions and policies for America will work to turn the country around from its present path toward socialism.
You helpfully pointed out that I've just been suckered by a 'cult of personality.' *sigh*...I guess I'll just have to vote for Obama.

To: Artemis Webb
Ok, you're not necessarily hating on Palin. I apologize for implying that.
But here's the thing. The posts I've read on FR that most sound like the rhapsodies of an indiscriminate Peronista cult-of-personality surrounding Palin are the ones you've written.
Nobody else writes stuff about how flowers grow where she walks. Just you.
How bad can the cult be if you're the only source of the crazy? You're becoming like one of those false flag protestors at Tea-party events, carrying a racist sign to decry the 'racism you know is there somewhere'.
I think it is a very valuable thing to pierce the bubble of personal cults. But FR isn't becoming a cult. We admire Palin, but only because of her fearless Conservatism. If she loses that, we'd dump her.
