Sarah Palin emerged today from the Marriott Long Wharf hotel and said she planned to walk the Freedom Trail before heading to New Hampshire where Mitt Romney is to announce his presidential candidacy today.
Coincidental that were in the same territory at the same time, said Palin, a likely Republican presidential candidate. But more power to Mitt
and best of luck to him. Palin said she remains undecided on whether she will challenge Romney and other candidates for the Republican presidential nomination.

Peter Hamby of CNN posted these pictures of her at the Bunker Hill Monument:

If he wants a day in the sun, let him take it in Cancun. We're under no obligation to treat him with anything more than the RINO contempt he deserves.
Yes, George was a RINO but give credit where credit is due. He didn’t preside over a full and utter collapse of Mittengan AND he was unabashed about being beholden to the auto-industry executives.
Although not single-handedly, he did good, diligent work to keep Detroit alive.
Disclose: I grew up in Mittengan, left after college, came back for 10 years and WILL retire in the farmlands of the Southcentral counties.
It isn't the "elite", it is the media choosing the candidates; witness George Will and "Chuck-you" Krauthammer.
Sarah's running the right road
Agreed. The idea that the better candidate can’t even appear in the first primary state on the day that the lousy candidate announces is preposterous.
When I use the term “Elite” I am including most of those in the media, as well as the Republican Leadership.
Gotchya!
LOL! The article says that Romney is having a big-bucks fund-raiser tonight at the Four Seasons Hotel. If Governor Palin has managed to siphon off very many of the deep-pockets type GOP donors to attend her clambake today, it will strike right at the heart of what's supposed to be Romney's greatest strength---his much touted ability to raise money.
At the very least, if Gov Palin decides not to run, she's sending an unmistakable message that she will not support or endorse Mitt Romney. The Republican establishment best pay heed. Can you hear us now, Rove? :-)
Young peeps would not remember George Romney throwing the GOP itself under the bus over his support for the Viet Nam War.
When Nixon was under pressure over LBJ’s war, George publicly stated he had been “brainwashed”(his exact word) into supporting the war, making Nixon look the brainwasher instead of LBJ. Libs made a big deal about it at a time when Nixon was trying to end this war the Dems had started. It was a cheap stunt intended to garner support from moderate voters in the run-up to the GOP presidential primary Romney was angling to win.
I lost respect for George Romney right then, if he was telling the truth, for being weak-minded enough to let others control his thought processes. Our captured boys were resisting the worst kind of torture/brainwashing at the Hanoi Hilton and this fat cat millionaire Romney submits to brainwashing while he enjoyed a posh Governor’s suite in Michigan.
If he was lying...well, who could respect someone who would concoct such a deceitful and treasonous story as that. What a weasel! LIKE FATHER LIKE SON.
Yeah, why intrude on Mitten’s day? I mean after all, Mitten has only had his minions trying to destroy Sarah Palin from the very day she appeared on the national scene. Especially so after Mitt gave it up and McInsane brought Mitt’s people over to his campaign and they realy went into high gear with their filth.
I say drub him severely Sarah, and then rub his nose in his own crap.
Clark Lake? Gillette’s Lake?
Metropolis of Norvell (near Napoleon)
Irish Hills, then? (Or just outside...) Great place for a day-cation for the family.
I grew up in Hanover in the opposite corner of the county but this is home now.
Considering that it was the Romney campaign people who went to "work" for McCain after he got the nomination and named Sarah as his runing mate, and then they proceeded to trash Sarah and lessen her appeal for this election and make his Mittness more likely to win this nomination, Sarah can open as many cans of Whoop Ass on Romney as she wants!
And rightfully so.
I don’t like Romney. Sarah is my choice and running a close second is Herman Cain.
