Glenn Beck’s Last Day On Fox Slated for June 30 By Alex Weprin on June 2, 2011 10:58 AM

Fox News host Glenn Beck‘s last day at the channel is currently slated for June 30, according to Mediaite. As we reported yesterday, Beck had a rough month ratings-wise in May, slipping -17% in total viewers and -33% in the adults 25-54 demo compared to last year. That said, he still handily topped his competition on CNN and MSNBC.

As TVNewser first reported last week, Beck is planning to launch a web-based TV network called GBTV after he leaves FNC. No launch window has been given for the new service, but as we reported at the time former FNC executive Joel Cheatwood is already developing programming for it.

FNC has not named a permanent replacement for Beck, though one name that we have heard in conversations is Megyn Kelly, who went on maternity leave after having her second child earlier this year.

I’ll give him credit for intelligence and creativity. I tend to think there’s no worldwide conspiracy of evil, tho.

Back in the Seventies, people went on and on about the Trilateral Commission and David Rockefeller and how all our presidents were members. And it was all true. Constant repetition still made for boredom.

Not ragging on Beck, though. Like I said, I haven’t seen him or his show in a long while. Just mentioning what I saw a year ago.

Well..I will miss his shows, but his leaving will free up a lot of space on my DVR.

I’ve learned a lot from GB on that show over the years.... plenty of stuff I NEVER heard anywhere else in my life. And, when I researched it for myself, I’ve always found it to be true.... occasionally with a bit of “Beck-slant”... but, that’s to be expected.

We’ll catch you on the flip side, Glenn. :-)

Rushs TV failed be cause no one put him on at a good hour...

Rush's TV failed because one half of the show was spent schlepping his ties and the other half spent on innuendos as to the hot celebrities he was getting close and personal with.

Well, I am listening to Rush now, so I am distracted. I wish you could have seen Glenn’s recent shows because I think you would see his thinking now and likely be on board. George Soros and the collapse of our dollar, massive debt, the Islamic caliphate, China and Russia,. Maybe you can subscribe to his newsletter to merely read his daily updates?

I never got caught-up in the NWO, Tri-Lateral Commission etc. Too busy raising children, working, making my fortune...lol, ya know?

I wonder, on Beck’s last show, if the RED PHONE, the direct line to the WH, will ring...? Imagine Obama calling him....

Remember, Limbaugh was a total failure on television.

The main reason his show went down the tubes was the network allowed the local stations to place it in the time slot they wanted.

Since most TV stations are liberal they placed his show at the worst hours. Around here I could only see him after midnight.

Also, the local station that carried him moved the times around without notice so I could not record it or create a schedule where I could watch.

It was all done on purpose and Rush addressed this issue not only when he canceled his TV show but for a few years after when enough people would ask him to again get on TV.

“Watching his shows doesn’t make him NOT looney.”

His ideas are only looney if you reject what he is saying. I have been amazed at the accuracy of Beck’s information on his show.

Glenn Beck has his own way of presenting himself and the information he wants to tell his audience. Either you like his style or you don’t; but, I wouldn’t dismiss his accuracy or what he trying to tell the American People.

I thought he was courageous to take on Soros and the Obama administration.

Glenn Beck is a Patriot.

> Yeah, but he hasn’t been funny since Clinton left office. (I really miss the “Jocelyn Elders moments.” Those were hilarious. And, as you can see, I HAVE been a listener.)

Oh my, I remember that, if we’re thinking of the same thing. An Elders’ speech would be playing, and Rush’s head was be in a little circle in the corner, like the old hearing-impaired local newscasts. Every time she said something stupid.baffling, he’s look “up” with a complete “WTF” face. It was priceless. esp when she’s say “this is the root cause of...” but root would sound like “rut”.

He should say two things... It's almost here and you need to prepare.

Which is precisely what he does say. You must not watch him.

Well it was a little hard to watch when the stations put him on a 2:00 in the afternoon or 3:00 in the morning.

Best on TV and he will be sorely missed.

Strangely Beck is not well respected on this forum. Beck thought if you tell the truth and they will have to cover it, they didn't. Whiners here don't want to know the truth, ask them to point out where Beck was wrong, and they will tell you, he is nuts, he cries to much, he is fat........

He served the same purpose McCarthy did, and got the same response.

Yes, he makes the pattern clear and understandable to the”masses” who don’t know that their worldview has been fundamentally turned upside down by a few puppet masters over the last one hundred years.

It is very unnerving to believe all that you thought for all your life is a bunch of cr*p.

You need to “fundamentally transform” (shift) your whole belief system....that is why Alan Bloom was so flummoxed at first with his students who were like teaching aliens. It is their total ignorance of any history and truth—but more, their lack of curiosity about that history and knowledge of generations....which are building blocks. Knock those blocks down and we regress into the stone age again-—Darwin’s utopian society with no morality.

Most people (as ex-KGB Yuri Besmenov says) after the constant brainwashing of the media and schools you will never be able to be rational and understand reality. (Ideas all have origins).

Media and schools are nothing but for creating diversion and entertainment and needs for government and material items—nothing more. Marketing tool—for products and, even more sinister, IDEAS. Our circuses and bread.

I’ve noticed the mental illness of the left. It is from Postmodern German Philosophy (Alan Bloom-Closing of the American Mind 1980’s) and there has been a paradigm shift of thinking.....and it is irrational. (It all depends what is is)

Evil ideology which led directly to Lenin, Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Pot.

then, though the religious blather he wove in out of his narrative got old pretty quickly.

Sad that you think religion is blather?

Beck never promoted any particular religion, only that you should have one, and he obviously preferred Judaeo/Christian view. He clearly states he is Mormon, but does not espouse Mormonism, which I think is nuts, but it does not take anything away from the truth he presents.

MSM was making sure that most people could NOT listen to the ideas of Rush since he went way off of their “allowed ideas” plantation.

MSM has been shaping the thinking (along with public schools) of all the “useful idiots” and heaven forbid if the Truth gets through that intentional fog.

Remember, Limbaugh was a total failure on television.

You don't know what you're talking about. His "failure" was liberal spite and nastiness in action. As others have said the show was deliberately aired in the wee hours of the morning and I couldn't even tape it because the schedule changed unannounced from day to day. Liberals in the media made sure Rush "failed."

I watch him everyday. I just don't like the crying.... The begging... If he wants to advise, advise with strength, knowledge, and compassion.... Not tears. He needs to figure out if he wants to be a conservative voice or a preacher.
People who watch him know who they are and where the stand.
Not once has he spoke of Armageddon...( Of course the media would fry him) The battle line is already set. Evil is in control, I believe Revelations speaks of this. Just take a look at our government... Save a tiny lizard, but kill a fetus. Get right with God, prepare to defend your family, friends and fight the good fight. This let's stop evil by holding hands and march into battle will only get you dead.

I agree, although the relativism of “all religions are equally good” is troubling, or should be to people of profound faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God.

We do need to get back to the fundamentals of our legal system “under God” though, and Beck is right on that.

It is because without Universal Truth, there is no unity—only chaos. All history points to a melting pot which was most successful in America for 200 years....and why we were “exceptional”. We took the best from all cultures and discouraged the bad......back then, we were not afraid to “discriminate” which was our strength. We didn’t have this constant demeaning of our history and heroes which was started with Dewey and Becker and Beard....tear down the good and elevate the bad. Deconstruction of society was started in earnest in America, just as they did in Russia and Europe and then England.

Western Civilization has to be destroyed—the idea of freedom and responsibility which was extended to even the poor and sick and women with Christianity.

The left makes that strength into an evil and by promoting differences in the classroom—Multiculturalism was developed by Cultural Marxists to destroy unity and create Balkanization, and it is killing us. “Diversity” (Marxian lie) was never our strength—it was the unity. You have to have a standard for ‘right and wrong’....and it has to be God’s standard—not some man’s like Clinton’s. Man-made invented law (Legal Positivism) ends up being arbitrary law-—unjust law—which always leads to anarchy.

That is why the fundamental meaning in our legal system starts with ‘our rights come from the Creator’. We do have to get back to that and base our laws on God’s laws.....not Hitler’s standard.

We have to stand and decide....whose standard? God or man. Whittacker Chambers outlined the cultural war in his book, Witness, in the 50’s and said then that God was losing in America because of the infiltration of German ideas and Communism.

Ok he does choke up at times, he is a passionate man, but begging? For what does he beg, well unless you consider the commercials begging.

I whole heartedly agree with everything you said until the last line.

This let's stop evil by holding hands and march into battle will only get you dead.

Yes it will, but so will war with the government. If you are counting on all those patriots to come out of hiding and join the battle, you will be disappointed.

’ ... but ... it’s hard to listen to him ... so ... few do.’-————

Now that was funny.

He has the third highest radio show in the U.S., and the highest rated television spot in his time slot.

Tells me, many are listening...

I could not agree more. It is not this country that prevents universal slavery by the one world government, but the Christians that reside within, so we must be silenced.

Look how many anti-Christian posters we have on this Christian owned forum. I take from Beck that which is good, rightly dividing the truth.
