Rest in peace, Joel.

Joel was the heart and soul of Minnesota's 'Shall-Issue' permit law that was finally passed in 2003.

He'll be sorely missed.

Now the question everyone wants answered is why a woman who was not seen as a threat suddenly became violent.

Answer: Over a thousand years of inbreeding has produced our current crop of Islamists and she is just one example.

So very sorry to learn of his passing.

I grew to love him as a writer and more importantly, grew to love the person that God designed him to be.

Condolences and prayers for the Lord's blessings to his family.

Look forward to meeting him in person in Heaven.

He was a hero who was willing to lay it all on the line to restore the Constitution and the rule of law. I will miss him.

I was just looking at my copy of “The Crimson Sky” yesterday and hoping that he would one day finish that story. I guess I’ll have to get the ending from him later.

This Joel Rosenberg is probably best known for his Guardians of the Flame fantasy series. I enjoyed reading his books.

RIP Joel.

Yes, we’ll just have to wait for that one - he probably has lots more to tell us, now.

You’re right, he was a much better writer. This is the Guardians of the Flame author.

Checked out the photo on the website.

Unfortunately, it was not of Joel but one of his gun supporters.

Rosenberg, born in 1967 a "bit" younger than his "free joel rosenberg" supporter.

Sad, he was a good guy.

few people in MN history have had such a large and positive impact on MN gun rights.

No, that is Joel Rosenberg, science fiction and fantasy author and gun-rights activist, not Joel C. Rosenberg, Christian & suspense author. Born May 1st, 1954.

Joel is a year and 18 days older than I am. As some others have noted, author of The Guardians of the Flame series, as well as The Hero and related stories of a planet called Masada.

Joel C. is the guy who wrote The Copper Scroll, The 12th Imam, and other suspense/Christian thrillers.

OS, who feels like he lost another friend despite having never met the man...

Ahaa, many thanks for the correction, friend.

I'm sorry for those friends, supporters and loved ones of Joel Rosenberg.

May the good Lord bless them.
