Just saw Sarah Palin on Hannity. When asked about Donald Trump possibly running as a Third Party Candidate, Sarah said that a year ago she would have resisted such an idea. But, the GOP has failed to do what the American people elected them to do (Repeal Obamacare, no budget passed, etc.) and if they "don't get their stuff together" there is going to be a Third Party rise up because the GOP has failed to do the job and give the people of America a sound message of their plan for America because they are so afraid of offending somebody.
When Sean Hannity asked if she would consider a Third Party run, she said she does not see that happening "right now". She said she hopes the GOP gets their act together.
Talk of suicide.....
For the first time in my life I have something
in common with the Lame Stream Media...
We BOTH follow PALIN! She’s the only one leading!
PALIN / WEST 2012!!!
Bad idea. We need to unite the vote, not divide it. This scares me...alot.
My guess is if Sarah were the third-party candidate in race against Obama and Romney, she’d win. If she is suggesting Trump be the one to run in that scenario, I disagree with her.
A lot of people see the GOP as the Whig Party. I think the message here is that they don’t have to be. They could get back to their roots of freedom, small government, and responsible spending. But, if they don’t get it together, there WILL be a third party. Maybe not in 2012. But it’s coming — unless the GOP establishment shows that a third party is not needed.
I'll second that!!! A VP ready to run when Sarah's 8 years is done.
Palin is no Ross Perot. She will be the one with the 40% of the vote. I think she will win a 3 way race.
Remember, a lot of the independents won’t be voting for Obama again. If anything, the republican candidate will be taking votes from Obama, not Palin.
The GOP has not failed on Obamacare. They don’t have the votes to get it past the Senate or the President.
They did put the bill through the House.
Donald Trump sure ain’t the answer.
Obama is probably doing kicks and high fives.
“Talk of suicide.....”
Or salvation. And yes, I am aware of what a ‘radical’ notion that sounds like to many here...Trust me, I have heard ALL the Perot comparisons, but Palin ain’t Perot and this is a whole different set of circumstances.
If the Pubbies don’t quickly rearrange their feces, then 3rd party is the only logical alternative any realistic conservative has.
My prediction for 2012, OBama 39%, Romney 29%, Tea Party 29%
Third party would be disastrous ... more RINO Republicanism is disastrous. Stir the pot, Sarah. You go girl. Maybe the TEA Party can take over the GOP similarly to how the commies have taken over the ‘Rat Party.
Folks are FED UP with both parties.
I see a 3rd party candidate like Palin taking 40% of the vote and WINNING.
Did anyone just catch Palin’s slip? On one hand she isn’t thinking about running and on the other hand a decision is weeks away.
Or did I miss something? I was watching Hannity and listening to the cactus cuties at the same time.
Palin/West!! I agree.
Empty threat to get the rhinos in line.
That is the key element and that is why Palin can win in 2012 as a Third Party Candidate.
Go, Sarah, go. The Republican Party leadership has missed the message from November if they're fixated on Romney - they should definitely take pause on the ramifications of what she's saying.
