A bank foreclosure story you've got to see to believe. A Collier County couple turns the tables on Bank of America, the bank that tried to foreclose on their home. Now, the family is foreclosing on the bank! Even bringing trucks and deputies ready to seize property.
The foreclosure nightmare started when Warren and Maureen Nyerges paid cash for a home owned by Bank of American in the Golden Gate Estates. They never had a mortgage whatsoever. But, the bank fouled it up and wound up issuing a foreclosure through their attorney.

PING!
I’m surprised that many of these improper attempts at foreclosure have not ended in violence. I would imagine that many a law-abiding and peace-loving person would not take kindly to strangers attempting to enter their home and “take possession” of it.
Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving bank. The local branch manager made the right call by cutting a check. Jerk-assed corporations like Bank of America are extremely lucky to have competent and decent people on the front lines in many cases.
Not really — by most accounts I've seen of such situations, courts and city officials are so deeply in bed with the banks that an occasion where a judge renders a judgement - which a sheriff enforces - against a bank is a true “Man Bites Dog” story....
Sounds like the attorney enjoyed seeing the bank manager squirm. And he got some great publicity.
Yes, it should make national headlines in all the MSM.
If it does not, it another confirmation of the total corruption of the MSM.
Good. Banks have evolved from financial service institutions to consumer/taxpayer ripoff and gouging enterprises. Rather than make a profit for providing valuable service, they now strive to make profits by finding new ways to rape their customers. Id be ashamed to invest or work in one.
This story was just on the headlines on Fox News.
Wonder when Willard's going to release his financial statements on the holdings of his 'blind trust'. Last time around his attys asked for two 45 day extension and still withheld an unknown portion. IIRC he was heavily into banks and financials. How many of those received 'stimulus' money.
Betcha Obama's folk know.
Who didn’t see things like this coming years ago?
Thie die was cast in the seventies and by the end of the nineties it was clear it would get to this point.
To not see it, you had to want to not see it while sticking your fingers in your ears and singing so you could ignore the people explaining it to you.
Thus, Fox just confirmed its position as part of the New Media, and not part of the MSM.
Yes it is.
There is a word for this kind of behavior, contempt and it was as odious in the 1930s as it is now. At least Banker Potter ("It's A Wonderful Life") lived in the town and could be shunned by the people he abused, it is tough to shun the national bankers.
They needed an ACORN-grade community agitator to sit in at the bank’s lobby and bank president’s driveway at his house. Paging Mr. Soetoro. Never mind. They did it the right way....a real man-bites-dog saga. Gotta love it!
Woo Hoo! Best story of the day! About time the banks got a taste of their own medicine. Sweet justice.
bump
Big difference.
How do they get away with this? The short, simple video link below really hits home.
