This kind of straightforward honesty is why Sarah Palin’s supporters are so energized. This kind of statement - accurately calling the president a liar - is the only way to wake people up. The go along-get along Mitt Romney-style slick politician trying not to ‘offend’ anyone (by telling the truth) is so yesterday. Sarah Palin is very much today.

For anyone who cares to look I’m a Palin supporter. But I don’t think she’s running based on that interview. Unless she’s playing the most clever game I’ve ever seen on the “will she or won’t she” that is.

I really want her to run but I think she’s doing what she can to drive the field to the right, that’s what this tour is all about. But it won’t work Sarah they’re all ideologically squishy, all of them. Except maybe Santorum who can’t win imho.
