A more positive thing to do would be to cut them off the payroll entirely...but, either one of the moves will/would be deflationary especially with an economy that is 70% driven by consumer consumption. There are a lot of federal employees.
I read an article yesterday that stated that the USA had 107,000 fewer students in school K-12 last year but that the teacher count increased nationwide by 87,000 last year.
Wonderful, huh?
That damn teacher count is a major problem. the boomers are retiring, the next bulge is a few years off if ever. the unions are hellbent on full union member employment. TIme to throw the union bosses into ovens.
Quarterly Depo Provera (contraceptive) shots to continue receiving payments is an ethical and minimally intrusive option. No forced abortions or sterilization, but if you want more kids, you have to be able to support yourself first.
There is a “Union” for the unemployed.
Has he ever seen pictures of those men in the camps back in the day. Do you think men would leave home and work for meger wages on a .gov construction job today. Of coarse not. They would be payed UNION wages and not have to move and live in tent camps. Good Grief The Liberals are stuck in the 1930’s.
Why blame the Republicans when the Democrats are in charge of this disaster and have been all along?
Producing things of real value seems like a good way to start—oil and gas come to mind
Me too, I did exactly the same thing, except I skipped to the article comments section. I was happy to see RR getting his butt kicked.
You are probably right, but government federal, state and local all needs to srink back to 1980’s level. Whatever it takes it takes, it simply must be done. Personally I’d like to srink back to pre WW1 levels. Yes pre the great progressive Wilson levels.
